Our experience with law firms that offer loan modification services is the firms are not providing traditional legal services. In fact, in most cases you won't ever speak to a lawyer.

Yes, I think it's a smaller law firm since I did actually speak to the attorney. I am still in the modification process but so far everything has been great. They answer every question I have rather quickly and they call me for updates on my file. Since I have not yet finished the process I cant comment on the outcome but so far I'm pleased with the service.

I am in the same process for a loan modification. I spoke directly with one of the lawyers, Brian Levin. He is very nice and honest and does not harass you for any paperwork. I actually looked up Franklin Law Group on the web and did some research before submitting my info. The owner of the company is Aileen Franklin. I went on the Florida Bar's web site to look her up. (floridabar.org) All her practice info came up! Check it out. She is in good standing with the bar. She graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2001 and is part of the young lawyers division. Brian has similar info posted. Aileen Franklin http://www.floridabar.org/names.nsf/0/3F7070C550D4A5C885256BB5004C6F80?OpenDocument Brian Levin http://www.floridabar.org/names.nsf/0/FB4EAB3B82412DAB852571FF00668CBF?OpenDocument I will post more once I get further into my loan modification and also once it is done.

They are a fraud. They collected $2,000 upfront and assured me they could modify my mortgage without proof of current income. Not possible.. My account has been transferred 3 different times. I have never spoken to a Lawyer. All the financial information I gave the first account executive was lost and I had to duplicate it again for the new executive. I told them I had no proof of current income. They still filled out papers and sent to my banks - without my knowledge - fraudulent paperwork claiming I had $6,000 per month in income, which I clearly stated I did not, since I lost my job two years ago. Of course both banks have now called me to verify my income. Now, no one at Franklin will return my calls, including an attorney. I am about to report them to the Attorney General's office and the Florida Bar Association. Ms. Franklin's record will not be clean for long!!!! DO NOT USE THIS FIRM

I agree they are a FRAUD and SCAM, they mis-lead me with improper information, collected $2350 strung me along for 4 months and I haven't received anything in the end. They said they would process a refund however they continue to ignore my calls, e-mails etc.. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!!
