Swamp Cooler

My swamp cooler has stopped working. I had a friend look at it, and he oiled the belts and checked what he could while I wasn't home. I tested it, and it I try to turn on NOTHING happens. I'm thinking that it must be the motor, and if that is the case,
can someone tell me how expensive something like that costs? Is it possible that the motor, fan, ect. inside just need a good cleaning due to the calcium build up from the water?

Try calling one of the many HVAC companies listed here. Some of them will give you a free diagnostic and estimate.
