I'm wondering about the company called Eprofits. It's a work from home company that involves posting links to customers for various websites. Start up kit is $2.97 and the claim is that you can work from home and earn approx. $500/week by simply having basic typing skills and using email. Very skeptical about these types of work from home offers and am curious if there are any legit ones out there. I've been out of work for almost 2 years and need to stay at home.

Jim,

My initial answer to your question is yes. The BBB has not come across any actual work at home offer that wasn't a problem.

I Googled "Eprofits complaints" and found listings with a few different BBB offices that have had complaints, and reviews on a few other sites.

You should never have to pay up front for a legitimate work offer. We advise caution.

Not all work at home ads are scams, but most of the legitimate companies do not post ads. You can find the real stay at home jobs at http://allstayathome.com. There are no "get paid to take surveys," "click for cash," etc. This is a good and helpful site.
