Is NOAH or the National Organization for the Assistance of Homeowners legitimate or a scam?
|

Does anyone recently have any experience with NOAH (National Organization for the Assistance of Homeowners) aka Twin Builders Foundation Corporation, aka HPG and who knows what other names and addresses. I have not had anything but problems with this company, who supposedly fights for our rights as homeowner’s against our lenders. They have filed all kinds of legal action including numerous bankruptcies and lawsuits in my name or in group settings and all they do is let them get dismissed. I have spent over $8,000 with these people. My house was sold over a year ago and I am still in the house but Fannie Mae is taking legal action against me to take me out and NOAH is not returning my calls. Now they have some attorney who is using their address and telephone numbers representing me in the latest lawsuit but I can’t get her to call me and I am getting served legal papers. Is this legitimate or are they a scam? Anyone?

NOAH and it's related companies has been known for poor practices and actions against the government. Call your local courthouse and ask if there is a lawsuit against you. Due to the lack of proper notification (i.e. certified mail), I'd doubt it.
