Botach has a poor customer service and is terrible at following up or returning calls & emails. I purchased several items on 12-11-09 and I received all items but one, the invoice stated it would be shipped in 4-7 days. Two months later still no item and I had to call 3 times & email 1 once to get anywhere with the company. Now they say that the item has been discontinued by the maker. Funny story I called the maker and they still sell these items and have no plans to stop making them at all. So way all the lies and hard times with getting the item ordered. The only thing I see is they forgot and now are giving excuses to cover their tracks and save face. Sometimes good prices don't mean a thing when 1 you can't get the items and two the company only cares about your money and not you returning to purchase again. Sad but true.

Botach is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Their customer service is a joke and they do not have items in stock. They place low prices on their website to lure you in, charge your credit card, and then never ship you your items until you complain about not receiving them.
For example I placed an order back in October, its now January, I still have not received the item I paid for and have emailed their customer service several times with no response.
I placed another order on January 4th, I never received anything from their customer service telling me that the item was on backorder. They sent me a fake UPS number stating that the item would arrive on January 15th, the items I ordered arrived on the 19th and only 2 of the 3 items I ordered was in the package. Also there was no packing slip or receipt either. I have filed a complaint with the BBB maybe that will get their attention.
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I too ordered and made several unanswered phone calls to this company. I also wrote several emails. This company has absolutely no right to advertise as a BBB accredited business. I did file a complaint and called my credit card company to file a complaint with. I made an order and paid for 2nd day air thinking this would expedited the delivery but they haven't even processed the order after a week. All but one of dozens of phone calls went to a voice mail system. I left messages that were not returned, about the order status. Anyone reading this review should stay away from doing business with this company. I hope the BBB revolts their status as a BBB accredited business

This company has the worst customer service that I have ever ordered from. As a business owner myself, I tend to do a lot of ordering via Internet. I have only submitted one order with Botach, but with this order I could not get through their customer service via telephone or from the internet web address. All I could get was an automated response of I will get back to you as soon as possible. Finally after 9 days later, I received an e-mail saying the order was processed and shipped. This was only after I sent countless e-mails and phone messages to their customer service. Think very hard before you submit an order to this company!

Don't write a review, write a complaint instead so that their grade will drop. How they have a B- after all the bad reviews I don't understand. They will give you the best price but it is not worth it if you don't get the product and customer service is the worst on the internet.

Really really lousy customer service. Its like a black hole, If you call no one answers the phone. If you get someone, they promise to have someone in customer service call you back. Which they never do. The prices are the lowest you will find. But, you may never get the item or it will take a really long time. I ordered a belt and some light sticks as part of another order a month ago. Got most of the order still no word on the belt and light sticks.

Worst on-line shopping experience ever: didn't send an e-mail confirmation of the order until prompted by phone; would not/could not provide an estimated ship date (needed equipment within seven to 10 days); customer service number frequently busy; cancelled order...to my surprise, the order was shipped and I was billed three weeks later (without warning); "customer service" rep laughed at me over the phone; surprised that I had ordered from another company and gotten the equipment within days compared to their three weeks

I had an AWESOME experience with these guys. I ordered a Knoxx Spec-ops recoil-reducing stock from them. Not only did I receive it only 2 days later, but it was cheaper then ANY other company by $30. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I had a very unpleasant experience with Botachtactical Co. I ordered a Streamlight SL20 flashlight with charger for the 2008 Christmas season. I received the light and charger in time for Christmas however it was missing the AC plug for charging. The only time that I got through to the company, I was informed that it would be sent out. I never received it. I contacted the company at least 3 other times via phone and each time I was placed on hold immediately and remained online at least 15 minutes and never had the phone answered. I ended up paying high long distance rates without any results. I called on two other ocassions and the phone was never answered. I also send 2 emails in request to fix the problem and have the plug sent out. I never received a response or the plug. Being in security/law enforcement, I rely on a good light daily and without being able to charge it is a major problem. Luckily, I contacted Streamlight company in an attempt to take my lumps and purchase a plug. They are a great company, and agreed to send a plug out to me immediately free of charge and advised that the model numbers on the box show that no plug or charger is supposed to come with that model. Where the charger collar came from is a mystery to me. Two months have passed and still no response from the company. I would never do any business with the company ever again.

On Dec. 19th I placed an order. Less than two hours later I was given a conformation and a UPS tracking number via e-mail. OUTSTANDING! The arrival date was Dec. 24th (just in time for Christmas). The nice lady at my postal store stayed over on Christmas Eve and waited for the last delivery. No package. I used UPS tracking, the delivery date was blank. I called UPS and was advised the shipping label was made and charged for but no package was picked up because the package was not ready for transport. I contacted Botach on Dec. 29th via phone and was told my order was still in shipping. I asked why did it not get shipped on Dec. 29th when the label was made, charged for and the lady who took my order said it would go out that evening? Botach replied, "it was the holidays". During the conversation with Botach, I spoke with several people. The first person told me my order was still in shipping, last person told me that my order has already been shipped. So, during the conversation UPS had picked up my order. I spoke with UPS again. UPS told me the order had not been picked up, just the label had been made and billed for on Dec. 19th. I contacted Botach again. Botach advised my order was still in shipping. I spoke with a "supervisor". I asked him when was they closed for Christmas. Botach, "the evening of Dec. 24th". I asked why was my order not picked up Dec.19th, 22nD, 23rD or the morning of the 24th. Botach, "I don't know". I told him, if my order was still in shipping, upgrade it to overnight and not charge me for the shipping. Botach, "I'll have to get with UPS to see if I can do that". I found out via UPS, my order was picked up on Dec. 29th one hour after I spoke with Botach. My order is scheduled for delivery on Jan. 5th (3-5 day, not overnight). I am displeased with this company and its performance. And again this company is deceptive in its business practices and all dealings should be approached with extreme caution or Not At All. I too will attempt to get this company's GSA status revoked.

Awful company. Terrible reviews. Placed an order for a watch. Nothing after 3 weeks. Emailed customer service. Was told it was on backorder and would ship ASAP. Got an email days later that order was canceled. No longer plan to carry item. I suspect they just didn't want to honor the price.

I ordered 7 Hecker & Koch steel M4 magazines while I was deployed in Iraq, however I returned before I could receive them. They were returned from theater back to Botach in November, but they never contacted me to tell me so. I had to contact them to inquire about the status of my package, and they admitted to having the magazines, apologized, and offered either a full refund or the magazines.
I opted to have the magazines reshipped to my billing address in the states, which I provided in two separate emails, only to have them reship the magazines back to Iraq.
After a month of more waiting, I emailed them again to inquire about the status of my magazines, only to have them offer the explanation that the Army, whom I'm currently commissioned with, seized the package. They offered no compensation for their error, and said that if I wanted the magazines, I'd have to buy them again.
It's been more than a month now, and even after contacting the BBB and filing a complaint, Botach still won't return my money, or replace the magazines they lost. It's also apparent that they lied to me about the Army confiscating my shipment, as the United States Postal Service shipping code assigned to my package shows that it was returned to the company in March. To outright lie to someone is not only unethical, it is illegal in this case, as it deals with fraud.
This is the worst company that I've ever dealt with, both in customer service and professionalism, and they will never see one cent of my money, or that of any soldier that will come under my command again.
I've taken steps after my complaint to the BBB got me no where. I've written both of my congressmen in an effort to get their GSA status revoked, and I've contacted the Court Clerk in their area in order to begin the filing status in small claims court. I feel that in America, if something or someone's service ***, you should be able to get your money back. I will not stop until I have what's rightfully mine.

This company has some of the worst customer service in the industry. They have consistently gone back on internet offers. Incomplete orders are shipped on a regular basis and the company will refuse to make good on the rest of the order. It is extremely hard to get a live customer service representative on the phone. Customer service representatives are very rude and extremely unhelpful. This company is deceptive in its business practices and all dealings should be approached with extreme caution.
