well....I am currently a member of Biltmore who's who and I honestly don't know WHY SO many people have bad things to say. I have signed up in march of 09 and i use the online list. I wish more of the member actually took the time to network- but that's not the company's fault, its the member's who spent the time and money and r not using it! i have spoke with many people in different fields(i have written to alot more then that) the press release was beautiful, and it really went out to my paper- really-- You know- when people have bad things to say that HURT people or a company-- everyone is QUICK to tell someone- But not enough people who have GOOD things to say- actually take the time to tell people! I found all the scam and rip off reports when i goggled my name with biltmore name attached-- and i was shocked to see some of the things people wrote--ARE THEY EVEN MEMBERS?? BECAUSE I'VE HAD A GOOD EXPERINCE AND WILL STAY WITH BILTMORE-- I WISH MORE PEOPLE WITH GOOD THINGS TO SAY WOULD COME OUT AND SAY THEM!!! Thanks! and those airline tickets --- if you guys would pay attention when your on the phone --or read the info they send u-- u would hear that u have to stay at one of the motels on their list- get real guys! They ARE real airline tickets and all ur doing is paying for a hotel-- what else do u want? nothing in this world is without restrictions-- and nothing is FREE !!

Biltmore Who's Who is absolutely, emphatically one of the many Who's Who scams one can read about online. As previous reviewers have noted, they prey on victims by using the Who's Who name that many associate with the reputable Marquis Who's Who and then use flattery, hard-sell tactics, and dishonesty to fleece their victims. They promised the same "unrestricted" airfare vouchers (which are not even remotely without restrictions) and the same hard-sell tactics with my wife. Calls to request a refund were met with similar misinformation. Just dispute the charges with your credit-card company. MC and Visa consider the cardholder claim valid for internet transactions, so just explain how Biltmore did not provide complete, clear, and accurate information. I'm sure the credit card companies will have heard it before.
With this in mind, I'm utterly floored that the SE Florida BBB isn't more concerned about them. Maybe the Better Business Bureau really is just the window-dressing organization that many claim, existing primarily as a smoke screen for dishonest scammers than as an organization dedicated to fair play. Long story short, though, deal with Biltmore Who's Who only at your own peril. If only I could give these con-artists zero stars.
For Linda R. and anyone else wondering, people complain about Biltmore Who's Who because they are dishonest. People dislike being taken advantage of, and they tend to complain when scammed. If Biltmore Who's Who doesn't want complaints, they shouldn't work so hard to earn them. For anyone who finds themselves in a situation similar to mine, the following quote from the chargeback notification sent to Biltmore Who's Who by Visa may be useful:
"MasterCard and Visa regulations consider the claim of the cardholder to be valid. Merchandise or service descriptions that are not signed for or not provided to the cardholder in a face-to-face transaction are not recognized."
If Biltmore Who's Who has deceived you like they deceived me, just dispute the charges. You're not likely to get any satisfaction from the scam artists themselves.

SCAM WARNING - This company does not deliver on what it promises over the phone and through the mail. They offer free airline tickets which are totally bogus and charge $600 to $800 to put you in a Who's Who directory, which they probably do, but they only publish one copy, it is NOT distributed anywhere. Look these guys up on the internet, you will find hundreds of thousands of links reporting them as a SCAM, don't fall for it!

SCAM ALERT This SAME congratulations letter "word for word" was sent to me a few years ago. I feel bad for people who paid the $600 or $800 amounts. PLUS The FREE Tickets are completely FAKE. I was in the real Who's Who and they don't force sell you anything. Check out this site, it explains the scam and shows that they just change the name, website & letterhead, Didn't you notice there was ONLY ONE other comment in this BBB site for Biltmore? That's because its their latest name change.
