Honestly I’m quiet surprised by they reviews here, I signed into trust link to review EyeBuyDirect.com just because I had 2 good experiences with them.
Like a year ago I ordered a pair of glasses, got it after almost 2 weeks, and it was $14.95 order over all… nothing went wrong with them so far, I love them, and the only reason that I ordered again now a year after, was because they have this BOGOF (buy one get one free) offer that mad it so worth to just order whatever!
I got them last week, after 10 days…and so far they look great to me :)
Well, maybe I was lucky or maybe you just need to keep your glasses in the case and be careful about them.
It’s funny, because I think people take less care of the cheaper frames because of its low price, and after words wondering why the $800 ones were lasting longer! Of course they did- you didn’t through them under the bad or in the bag without a case… lol

I bought a pair of glasses from them in June/09 $129.80. I was cleaning them in Dec. and they broke. I have been wearing glasses for over 40 years and never had a pair break like this. I asked for a call back by e-mail, and got nothing. I finally called and they said they didn't have those frames anymore I have to buy another pair. I asked if they had another frame that I could buy instead of paying for a whole new pair, which I cannot afford since I am on Social Security. The girl gave me the dimensions of the frames and said I could try and find another of the same size. I decided to try their chat and who do I get but the same girl. After I said I would write the BBB, she said she could try and find some frames for me. I wanted to talk to a supervisor, who called me and stated that they would not work as the frames would be made different. He offered me a discount of 10% on a new pair. I told him that wasn't even as much as the promo they had going on, He said that was all he could do. I would not buy glasses from them again.

I purchased glasses online with this company caouple of years ago. They were find. I bought a gift card and then orded a pair of glasses in november 2009 and when purchasing online it just kept asking to udgrade to higher lenses and and it is now Jan. 2010. Did not recieve glass or response after several attempts to contact and one of the numbers where out of service.

So far (6 pairs of glasses) i'm very satisfied! since a good value for money is very important for me i really like EyeBuyDirect, and never had any of the bad experience the other reviews claim they had...
if you are not looking for designers frames (*even though they do have some) but you still want nice quality glasses for a more than a reasonably price, i think you can try EyeBuyDirect once, for example when they have a good promotion.

Glasses broke in less than 2 months. Customer Service is no service. On Line Chat is jammed. Left a message with no response. Called several times no answer! Finally got through on Chat. They told me to return glasses with $39 reprocessing fee. Glasses only cost $70 in the first place. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for!

EyeBuyDirect.com is the best web-based eyewear retailer I've used. I purchased my first pair of glasses from them in 2008, and am about to buy another pair for myself and and my wife.
I've been buying my glasses online since 2006, and have tried them all. The quality of their frames far exceeds anything I've bought from any of their competitors. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I ordered a pair of eye glasses from Eye Buy Direct and received them promptly. They were not what I ordered. It took me 3 days to get in touch with someone there. I kept calling and leaving messages and emails. No one ever returned my call. Finally their mail box was full and could not receive any more messages. I kept calling and calling until I got a live person on the phone. I'm returning my glasses and they did send an email promptly to tell how to return them. I will keep this board informed in my full refund.

I ordered glasses from this site a week ago. They failed to give me any sort of confirmation number or email. The payment went through the next day from my account. It has been 10 days and I have not received my glasses nor a order/tracking number. Every time I try to contact them I am told the phone number is out of service. When I use their online chat it always tells me they are unavailable and so I have sent three emails without receiving a response. I am still hoping to contact someone and to receive my products that I was really excited about.
