Dishonesty is the Rule

From the D+ rating that the Better Business Bureau has assigned them as of this writing, to the many reviews citing dishonest business practices (particularly with respect to inventory availability), this company offers great prices at the expense of its soul. I am not a competitor and have never had anything to do with the heating / air conditioning industry, so all the assumptions about negative reviews just coming from local competitors are not always true (though I'm sure the local dealers don't appreciate the competition, and AC Wholesalers' practice really is contrary to manufacturer policy and best interest for product support). I took the chance on a Black Friday special and ordered a Mitsubishi ductless system that their website assured their customers was in-stock. The rest of the story is much the same as the other negative reviews. They assured me that it would ship after 1-2 business days to process, and that was the end of the communication and no product appeared. I am certain that they never would have communicated with me again had I not initiated and insisted. When I finally talked to someone a couple of weeks later, they acknowledged that the unit wasn't in stock and they would have it around the 16th of December. That date also came and went and, as the end of the month approaches, they clearly have nothing and I don't expect my order to fill for a month or two at least, based on others' reports. This company sells products that they don't have, and they actually don't know if or when they might have them, and they not only don't tell you that this is the case, they are happy to lie and say whatever they think you need to hear to get you to order or to get you off their back, right from the beginning when it says "In-Stock" on the webpage when it isn't. This company does not deserve your business.
