My mortgage was killing me!! My property value dropped and I was underwater over $100k! My kids and I had put our roots down in this home and I did not want to lose it. I lived paycheck to paycheck and at times had to borrow just to make ends meet. I had
no savings, no retirement money and was so depressed for depriving my family of simple necessities. I had tried a loan modification with NACA, but it was a hassle. Missed calls, endless time waiting for someone to come on the line and ultimately a denial.
I tried again working directly with my lender and after submitting all the paperwork, once again denied! I kept getting calls from unknown companies out there about wanting to help, but all I heard were bad stories about scams and people losing their homes,so
I ignored them. Until I got a call from Olivia at Amerifi, somehow she sounded kind and came across as really interested in helping me so I decided to listen to what she had to say. It all sounded so nice, but I was not convinced so I did some research and
found that it was a legitimate company and decided to call her back, but this time with so many questions. She answered them all very honestly, and told me exactly what to do to and what to expect. She also gave me the best and worse case scenario and explained
that even in that one percent chance they could not get the lender to help me, there was no charge because they don’t ask for any upfront fees. So I singed up. It was so easy! A few calls and a few faxes she said she would call me with updates, which she did.
Everyone there is very nice, comforting and reassuring. They told me my life would change. I said even if you could just have them lower my interest rate that would be a huge help. After the sixty day wait period they submitted my paperwork and in just a few
weeks I got the call. At first I thought I heard wrong when Olivia said that the modification was approved and they were able to obtain an even better offer then expected! Then I thought it was a joke! My mortgage payment dropped from $1,475 a month to $446!!
And a drop on the percentage rate from 7.9% to 2% for the life of the loan!! Are you kidding?? You must have read it wrong or heard wrong I said. She continued to tell me that they did not extend the life of the load, which was extremely great. My original
principal was $189k and now it’s at $71 which is the market value in this area. Unbelievable Amerifi! You guys are the miracle worker that’s for sure! My life has changed so drastically. I can sleep at night knowing that I am able to make my mortgage payments
and not deprive my family of necessities and I am now able to save for my future retirement!! Now I am living the American Dream!! Thank you, thank you Amerifi. As my kids would say, “You guys Rock!!”
