I too am being audited and my son has also been audited for two years so far...Why are they not responsible for any negligence? You pay a tax preparer trusting what they do and WHAM! They are no where to be seen. They don't answer their phones and I drove over there. The "receptionist" was sitting there watching a talk show on TV. When I questioned trying to call for the past 2 weeks she said and I quote "I been busy and we stepped out for a few", I wanted to smack her. Just at that time someone came thru the door with IRS audit papers too. OMG, I will be paying them off for the rest of my life...
DON'T USE THEM, THEY ARE CHEATS AND DISHONEST!
