Horrible experience

Our experience with Carrington was the most horrific experience we've ever had in buying a house. I must say this was one of the worst loan processing fiasco's I have been involved with having purchased 5 homes previously. It was an insult to us as the highly qualified buyers, as well as an inconvenience and emotional roller coaster to both us (the buyers) and the seller. Our escrow closed almost 4 weeks late! No excuses!
The source of the problem was incompetence on the part of the mortgage company.
They still have the audacity to send us referral offers. This after I gave them a scathing review on the questionnaire they sent us to be filled out.
Stay away! Do not use Carrington for any of your real estate needs.
I, too wanted to give them a minus 5 stars but had to settle for one.
