Actually they don't even earn 1 star
Approx a month ago I had an issue with front axles on my 2006 Honda CR-V(front of car was vibrating).Took it 1st to a Midas shop. They stated axles needed replaced.
Mgr called Fidelity about warranty. Rep stated it's covered under new car warranty(under 5 yrs old). So I took to Baierl Honda & their serv tech verified it was the front axles.
The tech then called Fidelity to state it should be covered under the "Powertrain" warranty the cust bought.
He was instructed to read a certain line in the warranty that basically states it DOESN'T cover anything powertrain related. The Honda tech was told it's just a plain warranty.
I think I was mislead in believing I had a POWERTRAIN warranty.
Thank God I purchased a "certified" used car & the axles were replaced for free. If I didn't purchase a "certified" used car, I would have been stuck paying the whole bill($1,550)
I filed a complaint with the BBB to receive my FULL refund back since they were useless in helping me-Fidelity's response(not in their exact words)was it WAS covered & repaired(not by Fidelity)so NOW if your not happy with the warranty, we will refund you(after mileage pro-rated & a $50 administrative fee is charged)...why?...they didn't live up to anything in the contract..still waiting for a 2nd response...maybe the attorney general's office or a local tv in future
