Innovative Merchant Solutions-Intuit Payment Network. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!
I Sold some goods. Took over a week to release funds. Intuit needed to verify with the buyer. I confirmed the buyer's phone # matched their record. Days later, funds released to my account. Goods sent to buyer. Buyer receives goods, went to the bank denied authorizing transaction. Bank withdrew money from Intuit's account. Intuit tries to withdraw funds from my account and refused to accept shipping receipts that would prove that buyer authorized the transaction. I personally went to the bank who advised me to fax proof to intuit who should then fax proof to them so they can investigate. Tried several times to have them take proof( shipping labels will match buyer's bank info) and the bank would have reversed buyer's claims realizing that buyer had made false claims. Intuit (Laventure, Lynn- Nora) did not want to deal with the problem and told me to sue the buyer. After 4 months, intuit decides to send my account to collections. I contacted Fredy Antoun Collections Department. I talked to him once then forwarded me to their supervisor Debbie Johnson who never picked up her phone neither return my calls. ., What kind of a company is this? They would not take documents to send to the bank, they tried to withdraw the funds from my account twice and they decide to send my name to collections. I have then emailed and called their collection department (Fredy Antoun) several time. I have called more than four times and emailed several times. Both parties will not answer calls nor respond to email. Their Response to my complaint to BBB: .... "....And it is important to note that even in the Papal environment the merchant will be asked to produce “authorization proof” if the buyer is disputing the fact that he/she didn’t authorize the transaction. However, in the check processing system the rules are different and there isn’t an “approval process” for a buyer; the use of the same bank is also immaterial. Many of the rules and regulations created by the banks have been done so to protect the consumer and in the event of a dispute. It’s also important to note that these are not rules or regulations that are written by IPN, but must be followed and adhered to by our customers. My Response: They are there to make money on such problems. They will not accept documents from me (Their customer) to prove the buyer's dishonesty. So how are they protecting their customer..Me? The transaction in my account indicates as though the transaction was between intuit and my business and shows in intuit account as between intiuit and my buyer. The bank will therefore only take proof from intuit when the buyer denies a transaction. Intuit will not take any proof because they make their dirty money in this manner by charging reversal fees, chargeback fees and other fees that can be avoided if only their contract is transparent. Before you think about using their service, read hundreds of reviews on http://www.cardpaymentoptions.com/credit-card-processors/intuit-merchant-services-review/ They will not answer your phonecalls, they will not return your email, they will send your account to collections even though you have proof. They have the worse customer service I have ever experienced (Talk about 45-1 hour on the phone wait time and very rude staff.
