Smoothest process so far for mortgage on purchase

I had a great experience working with Marlon at Ladera Lending. I had filed a form at Lendingtree and reviewed 5 potential lenders. During the process, I eliminated one after another based on how prompt they reply to my requests, how accurate the information
was forwarded and most importantly the human contact. At the end I picked Ladera Lending prior to locking. I locked in November 2013 at the worst time with the rate spike. I was too greedy thinking the rate would go below 4% and missed the opportunity of locking
at 4.125%. On numerous instance, Marlon advised me to lock. I wish I had listened at least once. This was my second home mortgage and the whole process was better than the first one. I would definitely check back with Marlon if there was a possibility for
refinancing.
