Learn more about reprehensibly situation with Live deal
The story has started back in 2010 when two young Canadian entrepreneurs Julian Gleizer and Daniel Abramov contacted Intelex to build a daily deal website. With great enthusiasm and superb dedication on both sides we have successfully launched the site
in November of 2010. The business was fairly good and the company was growing for the next two years or so. After initial success the whole daily deals industry started slowing down. The competitors on the left and right started to close down. Sales of DT
also went south. The Intelex bills for the maintenance and addition programming for the DT website were paid with more and more delay. At the end of 2013 the things became real bad, the bills were not paid at all and we at Intelex became alarmed. After our
conversation with the two owners of DealTicker- Julian Gleizer and Daniel Abramov I became aware that the company did not have the funds to pay our and other bills and was on the edge. The only way to get out of this situation is to find a buyer. As a loyal
developer, and by that time, a friend of the owners, I was expected to wait until the sale of the company goes through and according to Julian Gleizer “would be paid offin full literally the day the deal is completed”. Having had very little alternative I
agreed to wait because the deal “with the investor was almost completed”. Weeks and months have passed and finally at the beginning of May DealTicker was acquired by Live Deal.Julian and Daniel got their checks for the sale of the company and were hired as
the managers. I was so happy to hear the news. The company will get the needed resources, we will improve the site, and finally we will get paid and will be able to pay the HST for 2013 that was due at the end of May. Then came the reality: I was asked to
wait for another week or so for the “things to settle”,then “the bills had to be reviewed”, then “people were on vacation”, then “the people were on the business trip”, etc. Keep in mind the outstanding bills in the total amount of $24,584.75 are from November
2013 to May 2014. And it is July 2014 now. I called Julian and Daniel numerous times, and at the last conversation I was told that they cannot do anything about it because the debt belongs to Live Deal Inc and the new owner has to pay the outstanding bills.
So basically we are on our own with this struggle. I felt totally betrayed by the guys that we were together with for more than 4 years. The best recommendation that I was given was to take Live Deal to court. I wrote a letter to the new owner Tony Isaacasking
for the payment and finally I got an offer to be paid from the PROFITS (!!!) of DealTickerin monthly installments the total of $20,000 and forget about the difference of $4,584.75. Taking into account the current financial situation of DT it pretty much meant
I will never see my honestly earned money! No,they are not questioning the bill itself, they simply do not want to pay, period. Most people would say that this is ridiculous that the NASDAQ listed US Company that has over 9 million in cash!!! ($ 9,569,594)http://ir.livedeal.com/financials
is trying to screw thelittleguy. MOST IMPORTANTLY the money is NOT mine; I owe it to Revenue Canada for the HST collected last year. In the last two weeks all my e-mails and callswere ignored. We have a huge HST bill outstanding and are collecting penalties
on it. We have almost no money in the company account. We do not have the money to pay for the lawyers and litigation that can last for months or years. As I was advised, Small Claims Courts have no jurisdiction over US companies. Collection agencies are not
much help as most of them require prepayment. I am left with no other option but to take this issue public and I am seeking help from you as the customers of DealTicker and more importantly as honest Canadians to help us. I am NOT asking you to boycott the
company or its products, because I do not want to hurt it in any way. All I want is for the Live Deal to hear our voice and be fair. You can HELP us in a number of ways: 1) In order to get the future updates on this story you maywant to follow our FB page
