I believe you may be mistaken, or are perhaps calling a different telephone number.
We are Merchant Services and we are powered by FirstData. When you dial our primary telephone number of (949) 861-4000 the phone is answered as "Thank you for calling Merchant Services...."
We are a registered ISO/MSO of Wells Fargo Bank.
Our business cards, contracts and other supporting documentation disclose our relationship with Wells Fargo and FirstData.
"Merchant Services" is our registered DBA. Contractual obligations prohibit us from referencing ourselves as FirstData Merchant Services, because we are NOT FirstData. FirstData provides the back end processing for our merchant accounts.
Mr. Krystek's primary method of visiting businesses are leads generated by our in-house Telemarketing team. The appointment is set by a telemarketer and the Account Executive then visits the business based on the lead generated. Mr. Krystek also solicits "door-to-door" and a review of his business card and the sales presentation documentation discloses the relationship we have with FirstData.
