After many years of searching for my birth mother on my own I finally made the decision to use a search agency. I looked around on the internet and came across Omnitrace. I called and talked to Vanessa who assured me they could find my birth mother or they wouldn't take the case. I finally decided to take a leap of faith and got things rolling. Vanessa said it would probably take between 60 and 90 days to complete the search so I tried to put it behind me figuring I ouldnt hear anything until the end of summer. 4 days later I got an email with my birth mothers name, address and email. I made contact and found that she and my father have been together since before I was born and I have 2 full sisters. the reunion has been the most incredible experience of my life. If you are an adoptee and want to find your birth parents Omnitrace is a top notch organization with a caring professional staff I highly reccomend them.
