When you call to sign up for the Six Week Body Makeover, it asks for your credit card number first. After that, it offers several different products for different prices to add on to the already $120 program. I believe that the product doesn't work unless you use the other products along with the initial product. The other products includes: Pills to increase your metabolism, CDs to help you increase your metabolism, extra bands and a video to workout to, another type of workout DVD, a cookbook, the opportunity to get another program for a buddy that lives with you, a one time payment so that you can get UPS shipping, and 3-free months subscription to magazines. You have the option to say no to these extras, but if you decide to get the extras, you are looking at a lot more money up front for shipping and handling as well as a lot more money a month. Next, if you decide that this isn't what you want after all and after hearing all of the extras, there's no going back. You can't cancel your order because you are speaking with a virtual customer representative. It never asks for a confirmation at the end to make sure that this is what you really want. Then you have to wait 24hrs before calling customer service to discuss your order. To me, this is false advertisement and I hope they give me my full refund. If I lose $19.99 for shipping and handling, it's ok as long as they don't take anymore from me. I would be very careful before ordering anything from any infomercial. On 10/22/07, I just want to let you all know that I was able to cancel my order with no problems and no charges. I will give them credit for cancelling orders hassle free.
