Sensation Spas - Diamante Spas. Dave Maddox, President. Tammy Knott, Treasure.

Summary:

August 2008 - Original purchase of custom built spa; paid $8k+ CASH.
December 2008 - Spa delivered defective and without "add-ons" that were charged for in total cost. Notified company.
February 2009 - Manufacture authorized repair person sent to house; deemed spa could not be repaired and required replacement.
April 2009 - New, replacement spa authorized in writing after multiple calls and emails.
June 2009 - Notified new spa ready for delivery. Arrangements made to pick up defective spa and deliver new spa the following week.
July 2009 - Waited all day - no show; no call.
July 2009 - Defective spa finally picked up.
August 2009 - D-Day! Finally! Yeah... turns to disappointment to find defective spa returned in worse condition when picked up! Sanding, patching and repainting obvious. Additional transport damage. No attempt to address other defects. Refused delivery.

On-going saga... contacted company... "Yes, you were suppose to get a new spa, but the 'President' of the manufacturing company decided at the last minute to return the first spa to you in stead. Who's the President of the manufacuturing company... huh, Dave Maddox. We are just the delivery company, so you're contacting the wrong party... Oh, huh, who's the President of the delivery company? ... huh, Dave Maddox, but they're corporations so they're not connected?"

To quote ammy Knott: "Yes, its true. Dave Maddox is so important and so busy that he will never return your calls. Do not expect to hear from him ever; that will not happen. Returning calls is something he just doesn't do."

Bottomline: Scam! Check out "Yelp". The complaints are true. Worst purchasing experience ever. No return calls. No customer service. No refund. No spa. Contacting OAG next to file Class Action Fraud complaint.
