I joined SMC in Feb. 08. I did it over the phone, I listened very carefully to everything I was told and I asked every question I could think of. I saw alot of complaints after on Rip-off.com, every one of them having to do with refunds and being charged after asking for one. I had already paid my fee and decided to give it a try. My membership came with exactly what I was told it would contain. The rules for cancellation tell you specifically how it must be done . I too called my business coach and was at once being sold a website upgrade. After listening CAREFULLY and again asking MANY questions, I chose not to upgrade, and was offered smaller cost special promotions kits, one of which I CHOSE to purchase. I have only ever been billed for what I agreed to, what I have purchased and I have received everything within the stated 7-10 day shipping period. So far, so good. I have made several phone calls to SMC about varies areas, business licensing, taxes, etc. and have spoken to a real person each time and each time was satisfied. I have yet to try to cancel any fees or try to return anything, but at this point I feel, because I am a very good listener and ask ?'s first, I don't anticipate any problems. I live by, and teach my children....THERE ARE NO STUPID QUESTIONS, BUT THERE ARE STUPID MISTAKES!!!!!!!
