TRS not only failed to help they made the situation much worse.
Shelly Murad, Debbie Edwards, Michael Rozbruch offered me $500 refund as long as I would "sign a release" stating I would never discuss their complete failure to help me and my family.

On 6/6/2011 I was clear in my expectation of what I wanted TRS to do to correct this matter. Pay the additional penalties and interest applied by the FTB as a result of you clear and proven failure to provide the service you have been retained and paid to provide. I also want the money you were paid to provide that service refunded. I’ll round off numbers to make it easy.
$1500.00 for the additional penalties and interest incurred with the FTB. $2000.00 refund for fees paid to TRS since TRS clearly failed to provide the service they were retained for.
You claimed that you were not aware that TRS was retained to handle the FTB. I provided the supporting documents proving that TRS was indeed retained to handle the FTB matters. I also provided proof that you received all the financials on 6/1/2010.
While speaking with the FTB yesterday I was informed that they had not received any correspondence on my behalf until 1/21/2011.
So the meat of this is quite simple.
TRS was retained to provide a service on 3/16/2010.
TRS was provided all the financials needed in hand on 6/1/2010 to move forward with an installment agreement with the FTB.
TRS did NOTHING on that matter until 1/21/2011 and on 5/17/2011 finally got an installment agreement in place.
