I can't believe IOLO just contacted LABBB today -- 3.5 years later -- as their *first* response to a claim I lodged against them with the LABBB! LABBB asked me to respond within a week to their *rebuttal*; Otherwise, they'll drop my claim.
Their response is that they had *tried* to contact me with the contact details I left in the complaint but never got a response back.
The reality is that I had setup my email to direct any email from IOLO to go to an *unfinished business* folder. Naturally, nothing ever arrived (nor was it possible for their mail to go to spam.) Oh, and they never called me either.
So, it seems like they tried to play their hand of waiting out a complaint to clear their name from a bad BBB write-up. No luck, since I'm still on the ball with them and will not let them off the hook easily.
To get to the nature of my original complaint, SMPRO just thrashed my WinXPSP2 home desktop! It's the only time I've ever had trouble with software!
They never refunded the cost of the software and like the first reviewer noted, they hid behind their EULA and did all kinds of smoke-blowing tactics.
My question is WHY ARE THEY STILL AROUND after 3.5 years??? They are definitely not a straight business.
