After 5 laser hair removal treatments, I am more than pleased with the result! I have had laser hair removal on three areas at three different places, and A Youthful Reflection is my favorite so far! The laser is significantly less painful than other places and the result is just as good, if not better. At another business, I have had burns on each of my first two treatments, but I've never had a burn from here. Everyone's results are different, I suppose, but I have absolutely nothing to complain about! (Oh....and I have light/medium skin that tans easily with dark hair...so I was a pretty good candidate from the start...)

Wonderful service and great results!!!
I bought a Groupon for six sessions. I chose to have my under arms done. The first appointment they told me that everyone is different, so results will vary. After my second treatment I saw a significant hair reduction. The pain is minimal and I had no irritation or discomfort after. The staff is great, very friendly. You get call reminders a day before your appointment. I love that! I have approximately 85% hair loss and I have one more session left. Based on my experience at A Youthful Reflection, I gladly recommend this place. I am very pleased with the service and of course the results.

Excellent experience at A Youthful Relection!
I have been visiting this office since last year and every trip has been better than the last based on the consistent results I have seen.
The staff has been super flexible and accommodating with my schedule and Kathy Bragg has directly supervised and taken care of my every concern.
I have had 6 different areas that I have received Laser treatments for and I am extremely happy with the results.
Money and Time well spent.
Knowing what I know about the team at Youthful Reflection...I know they would own up if there was ever a mistake on their part and would go to the greatest extent to fix it. That's the level of confidence I have in their team!

Shaving less is nice!
It has taken longer than anticipated, but I now have patches with no facial hair, and I hope to be down to just those stubborn blond hairs soon that I won't have to shave as often anyway.
The staff is always friendly, and they worked with me to find more discounts after my Groupon ran out.
It was pretty painful in parts the first few visits, especially right under my nose. But now there are fewer follicles to react, and I suppose I've gotten a bit used to it too. I only feel pain a few times per visit now, and it's not bad.
I hate to shave, and soon it will be only on occasional thing. Thanks, A Youthful Reflection!

Great Results and Great Service
I have nothing but great things to say about both the customer service and treatment. The staff has always been very friendly and understanding and I have had the guidance throughout the whole process. Even when I accidently missed an appt they were able to schedule me the next day, see me immediately without any fuss or extra fees.
I am now on my sixth session and there have been dramatic results. Razor be gone!! First few times I did not see dramatic results so the heat was turned up slightly and ever since then I have noticed severe thinking and have maybe have three sessions left. I have had small peeling of my skin around the area (I have extra dry skin in the first place) but I have been advised to moisturize and have not had any sensitivity or problems around my armpit area.
For those complaining of the pain....suck it up! It's a zap for a millisecond and I have freinds doing it at alternate places and so far everyone has experienced it. My friend had purchased a similar deal through a differnet place and I can assure you that she has not received the same guidance and advice that I have.

Pleased with results!
I had a groupon for 6 treatments and applied it to my underarms. Just completed my 4th session & so far the results have been great - 75% less hair. My technician was very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. The laser they use is top of the line and I did not feel too much discomfort even at a higher setting. I'm so pleased with my results that I added my upper leg; after one session - 60% less hair!

A Pleasant Experience
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my results. I just completed my 6 laser treatments and have experienced a 70% hair reduction on my underarms. My technician was always prompt, very friendly, patient and made me feel comfortable. I'm hoping that after a few more sessions, I will experience even greater results.

A Great Experience
I purchased a groupon for 6 treatments for underarms and started receiving treatments at the end of last year. I have been going in every 4 weeks. I have had 6 treatments so far, and I am pleased with the results. I am scheduled for my 7th treatment this week. I anticipate going in probably 1-2 additional times - as my goal is to eliminate all hair if possible, though I know that new hairs may develop over time. I would estimate that my hair growth has been reduced by ~ 75-80% (I am told I am a good candidate - fair skin/dark hair). Tanya is the RN who performs the procedure and she is very professional, friendly, and on time. She answers all my questions and concerns as they arise. I am usually out within 5 minutes – so it is quick, though not pain less ;-) I would certainly recommend this place to friends as I have had a great experience so far.

Laser Hair Removal Spa with Outstanding staff
I find this place through Groupon. I've attempted hair laser removal before with no success at all but decided to try again. Had the initial consultation with the Ms Bragg who was very nice and friendly and so far have completed 7 treatments. I am definitely noticing results: slowly but surely there's less hair growing back and I'm being very patient. My sessions are with Kathy and she is just awesome, super nice, super friendly, super attentive. After the Groupon deal, I purchased additional sessions through deals (usually for 25% off) they seem to run regularly if you friend them.
My opinion? If unwanted hair is bother you a lot I would recommend giving this a try, if you're ok with shaving I would stick with that, laser is still a very expensive option and the results are not 100% guaranteed as obvious from other reviews.

Great Laser Hair Removal Center !
I purchased a groupon for 6 visits to this place.
The doctor was really friendly and explained everything in detail to me before she recommended the treatments. I have completed all 6 of my visits and have seen more than 85% reduction in hair growth on the chin area. I might need 1 or 2 more individual visits to get the area completely treated. But the doc had advised me about that before hand.
The staff here is really good too, the receptionist and the nurses are all friendly. They are booked full all the time but still are flexible and try to accommodate your timings.
I am a working woman and prefer late evenings for appointments and they have always honored my request.
All in all a good investment and I got full satisfaction from their services so far :)

Wonderful Staff
I heard about A Youthful Reflection through Groupon.
So far, I have had 4 sessions and am very pleased with the results. I have seen about 80% less hair and still have two sessions left.
Your first appointment is simply a consultation in which they explain the whole process and allow you to ask any questions. This was really nice to really understand what to expect and to calm my nerves about the process.
The staff are all every friendly and the ladies who do the laser are understanding (cause it hurts a little!)
I have recommended this place to friends. Just make sure that you read the papers they give you carefully. I hear that it does not work for everyone so you need to have clear expectations when you go in!

Great Place To Stop By For The Laser Treatments
My sister bought two packages of the laser hair removal on Groupon and each of the package have 6 Laser Hair-Removal Treatments for an Extra-Small Area (up to $450 value). She use one package and gave me the other one to try and see if I like it better than keep on spending money at the Waxing Salon. At first I was apprehensive about the laser hair removal but after I came in for the pre-screening with doctor consultation about the procedure. It help me to increase my confidence to move forward with my first laser hair removal. The things that I like about this place is of course the laser machine and especially the doctor and the staff that work there were attentive and very friendly.

Great Place, Friendly Staff
I've been going to A Youthful Reflection since September of last year, after the purchase of six sessions through Groupon. I've been really excited about the reduction in hair growth through the first 4 sessions of legs and 6 sessions of underarms. During the first two sessions, I estimate a reduction of about 80% for both. I haven't seen a significant decline since then, but in talking to the staff, I may expect to see diminishing returns. I was very hairy with rapid hair growth before, so I'm very excited about the reduction, even if it doesn't completely eliminate my need to shave later. I'll continue to update.
I have had to pay extra for areas not covered under the Groupon, but the savings and the hair reduction has been very worth it!
On a side note, I was recently very late (20 minutes+) to an appointment, and they still squeezed in an underarm treatment. I did have to come in for another appointment for legs, but they didn't make me pay for the missed appointment. I find them to be very reasonable, and I'm going to start bikini treatments after a short break from lasering.

very good staff and office
I bought a groupon deal and thought this place has been very good so far. The nurse who does the lazar has been very informative and doesnt put any pressure on me to buy more treatments or lazar other areas. She has asked me upon each visit what has happened ince the last treatment and has tried to up the lazar each time. while i realize this does take time and many treatments for hair removal, so far I have been pleased at the customer service and helpfulness of staff.
It does take a long time to have your first appointment and its just a test the area appointment. i would like to have known that on phone before so I could possible have pre-booked the next appointment, but otherwise each appoont ment has been to the day 3 weeks later.

I purchased a groupon a few months back, which I have now used up. A Youthful Reflection is located near Valley Fair Mall, so it's in a central location.
I have had 3 laser treatments performed so far and my results have been as expected, maybe even better than expected at this point. My family has had laser treatments performed, but this was my first time, based on their laser experiences which were performed at other locations in San Diego and Washington state, I had a more realistic expectation (I've seen some reviews here with disappointed people who I think didn't have realistic expectations which has nothing to do with this business). A Youthful Reflection definately explained and provided realistic expectations before starting treatment and my results have been in line with what they said.
I always used to wax but it was just a pain and I didn't like waiting for my hair to keep growing out. Your hair grows in cycles so the laser only kills the hair when its in the growth cycle. I have had 3 treatments performed and I am now only shaving my underarms about every 1-1.5 weeks and when I do shave its only a handful of hairs (10-20 hairs) each time. So I am extremely enjoying the laser hair removal and I will continue getting the treatments to kill the remaining hair cycles.
In terms of pain, they use a cold compress before the laser zap so it slightly numbs the area to minimize pain, which overall isn't too bad.
When ever I go in for my appointment, the office is always busy with other patients but never too many that they're running late. They have always been very close to on time. When I go in for my appointment, I arrive and am out the door only 15-20minutes later, so it is very quick and efficient.
Their office is in a converted house, which seems to be common in this area of CA, so it's not a high end office. But you're getting what you pay for since their laser treatments tend to be cheaper than other locations in the area.
If you're considering getting laser treatment, I would recommend A Youthful Reflection.

I found this place through groupon, and have been very happy with the service I've received there. Kathy is very friendly, and I'm always in and out in 10 minutes. I just finished my 6th treatment and almost all the hair is gone.

Purchased 6 laser sessions for $300 through a Groupon deal, based on a friend's referral.
A Youthful Reflection has strange hours so I'd suggest making an appointment far in advance as they fill up quickly and run multiple deals through Groupon.
The laser procedure has been relatively painless. A Youthful Reflection uses a laser with a cold compress then the laser zap. The cold compress numbs the area so you barely feel any pain. The laser strength increases with each appointment.
I've completed 5 laser sessions and experienced 70% hair removal. I think I might need to purchase 1-2 more individual sessions to get the full effect.
The staff is friendly and the technician I've gone to has been really nice, attentive and quick with the laser treatment.

I have only had the laser hair removal procedure done here. I have completed 6 sessions under the arms so far. I've had one nurse for the first 3 sessions and a different nurse for the last 3. At my 5th session, they had a new laser machine. Both machines worked fine for me. I have about 40% hair reduction from my left underarm and about 60% reduction from my right. I understand that it typically takes 6-10 sessions for a good amount of reduction, so I have been happy with the results thus far. (Note that 100% reduction is not a guarantee and you can read about that in any legit website about laser hair removal.) My most recent appointment happened to fall a couple of weeks before I went to Hawaii and it was so nice not having to worry about shaving or plucking for the entire week of my vacation!
The office setting is very professional, like a dental office with private rooms. I get an appointment reminder call from them about two business days beforehand. There has always been at most one other patient in the waiting room whenever I had an appointment, which tells me that they NEVER overbook their patients nor try to rush through patients. I appreciate that because EVERY appointment I have had with them has ALWAYS started on time.
I have two toddlers, and I love that they're welcome to come with me to my appointment as it is hard to find a babysitter for just 15 minutes. (This was the selling point for me. Otherwise I couldn't get this procedure done in the first place.) They have clean toys in their waiting room and allow my kids to bring them into the patient room while I have the procedure done, which takes less than 5 minutes.
Nurses and staff are all very nice and professional. My only suggestion is that I would love to see a smile on the main receptionist's face. ;-) And my only concern is that the receptionist books the next appointment out by 4 weeks every time. I guess I question why the nurse doesn't suggest a return time based on my results as I imagine every person reacts differently to each procedure. But I'm happy with how my hair reduction has been going, so I'm not complaining...just wondering.

A youthful reflection's been great! I found out about them through a livingsocial deal and their laser hair removal's been really effective. My livingsocial deal is now done but I am returning for more because their service and results have both been very satisfactory.

I have been wanting to do laser hair removal for several years. The price quotes I received for bikini treatment were up to $1,500, so when the Groupon for A Youthful Reflection came up (I bought 2 of the Groupons, paying $300 for six sessions) around the time of my birthday, I decided to treat myself. Now, it turns out that I needed to pay extra ($50/session) to have the "coverage" that I wanted. So, 6 sessions for about $600 total, and that's still half price. I won't tell you it's not an awkward situation, baring all to a stranger, but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? Their staff is just fine, folks have come and gone a little bit, but they act professional. The owner (a woman) is the best one to see. And, in the end, it's less expensive than a lifetime of waxing. I'm definitely seeing the results I wanted, so I'm happy and I'd recommend them to you.
