Hi just moved with Elite Movers. Gilli was wonderful and answered all of my many questions. She confirmed my date and time and the driver called before arriving. The movers were clean, neat, and very professional. It was a really hot day and they still gave their very best. I was worried because I went with the first company I heard from but they made a very difficult move as easy as it could be. They finished before the estimated time and did not slow down in order to get more time. I will recommend them to anyone who needs to move.

Working with Gilli was fast, easy and met or exceeded all of my expectations. Gilli provided experienced and respectful movers at a very reasonable rate. DO NOT - I repeat - DO NOT hire this company...bait and switch - Big Time!!!
Check out my review from December 2011 on the BBB website for more details. The claim was closed by the BBB with the caveat that this was unresolved by Elite Moving. Long story short...They "estimated" less than 3000.00 to move my employee from CA to LA. AFTER the truck was loaded the driver told my employee that it was now $6000.00 - His exact words, "Don't worry. This happens all the time. Your company will pay for it." When I called and spoke with Donna at Elite, I asked her their policy when they under estimate. Her first response, "We never load a truck without giving an updated estimate." When I told her this did not happen, she replied. "Sir, you had more to move than what was estimated; you should expect it to be more." What a joke. To top it off - the driver took a pre-signed contract and wrote the new estimate in the already signed contract...hello...fraud anyone??? They held my employees belongings hostage since the truck was already loaded...needless to say, we paid...What else could we do? Do not use them. I will go out of my way to inform everyone that this company is run by crooks. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Please read the BBB on this company!!!

WORST EVER
I used Elite for the recent move of my mother in law from State to State. We have had several staff members to deal with as their staff works like a revolving door, they lost the paperwork for her move to an assisted living facility, we took the week off to make sure we were in the State for her move and admission date...and they screwed the dates up....we had to rent furniture for her to use, Hire someone to meet the movers after we left to go back home. This is a very disorganized moving company I would not recommend them to anyone!

I selected Elite Moving over several movers because their price was reasonable. The move of our household stuff from a 5 bedroom house at Bakersfield, California to Beaumont, Calif. was conducted efficiently. The crew and their van was at the house 5 minutes before the scheduled time. They finished after 9 hrs! (give or take a few minutes!!)..
Norman, the team captain of 3 movers was very nice and did everything we wanted him to do. I bought them lunches and dinner (not too expensive, Jack in the box for combo burgers & Carls Jr for chicken combos.- an inexpensive way to show our appreciation).. My wife and I are very happy with their service which included dismantling and reassembly of 2 queen beds, day bed, etc. I am recommending this moving company to anyone who wants a painless move and professional move.
Thanks to Sharon too (& annette)& Val from the office who confirmed everything two to three days before the move. How efficient can that be? Thanks Elite. We appreciate your great service..

Elite Moving and Storage took care of my move on Sat. 7/2/11 and did a great job. Avi was very professional and I was confident that they would handle everything. I was right. After 15 years in the same house, I naturally had lots of "stuff"...they moved it everything made it intact. I have to say that I have always moved myself, but I never will again.

This move was the worst move I ever experienced ,They were not on time and they did not mention a word about packing costs,They charge you for rolls of tape and the tape roll is a 1/4" inch thick and they use allot on one item.To pack a picture frame was $100 and it still got damaged. Spent over $1000 and still had to go back with my own truck to get more items.They broke my Sony tv, my Marble table and allot of glass items,THEY SUCK!!
To tell you the truth they will damage anything you refuse to wrap.
ps They move like snails.

I reached out to Elite to schedule an onsite estimate for moving services. I had chosen to reach out to Elite based on the great feedback I read about them. Unfortunately, I am living in a state outside of the coverage area. However, I was blown away by the customer service given to me by this company. I spoke with Gilli (sp?) and she was incredibly helpful with advice. After she already knew I would not be able to use Elite she did not rush to get me off the phone but rather spent some time giving me tips on finding a good moving company and also offered for me to call back if I had other questions. I am bummed that I will not be able to use them for my move but based on the exceptional level of customer service I would highly recommend them and will definitely plan on using them for future moves if I am within their coverage area. High customer service is not always the norm these days so thanks, it was refreshing!

Do not use this company!
When Elite moved us from Los Angeles to Miami they damage many items, refused to assemble furniture that they had disassembled, refused to move furniture into the rooms we requested that the furniture be moved or would not move furniture to the location in the room as requested. In fact, one bookshelf was upside down. To make matters worse, Elite left trash in our apartment. Shockingly, they stated that they would charge us an additional $600 for these services; services for which we had contracted and already paid. Furthermore, Elite, despite refusing to assemble and move furniture, insisted that I sign the Bill of Lading and would not leave my apartment without attaining my signature on that Bill of Lading.
Elite's agents were unprofessional and very difficult to work with. Simply put, they were rude. Furthermore, Elite agreed to move our property with reasonable dispatch, but instead waited one week to start to move our property. As we awaited delivery of our property for over three weeks, Elite did not provide updates on the status of the move. In fact, when they delivered our property, they gave us approximately 35 minutes notice that they would arrive with our property.
To no avail, I made multiple attempts to informally resolve these issues with Elite. I provided Elite with pictures and spoke with Gillee from Elite who assured me that they would make things right. They never did.
Overall, our experience is not what we expected from a Better Business Bureau "A rated company." This is disappointing to us as we paid substantially more for Elite's services in order to avoid the problems that occurred in this move. Indeed, we received quotes for moving services for over $1000 less than what we paid.

We had an excellent experience with Elite Moving. Gilli was wonderful on the phone and helped us work out the schedule and the number of people. We hired 4 guys to move from a 2BR apartment to a 3-story house. Gustavo, Josh, Lupe, and Ruben were all wonderful and extremely professional. Gustavo was the team lead and he explained the costs and process every step of the way, which was great.
We even had them make an extra stop which did not cost us anything extra (just the time). We had hardwood floors in our new house and the guys were very careful during the move and did not cause any damage to our floors or to our items (I was mentally prepared for some nicks here and there, but nothing!) Did I mention that we made them move a lot of heavy items (including a full-size video arcade) to the third floor and they performed admirably.
We would definitely use Elite Moving again and recommend them highly to everyone.

I planned a move for my daughter on the USC campus area. The move was literally from one apartment to another across the street. I received bids from about 30 movers. The least expensive and most "friendly" was Elite Moving and Storage. The person I spoke with in their office was Gillu. She was professional and courteous. She assured me that the price would stay at that low bid without any hidden costs. She called three times to re-confirm. We needed to change the date, and again with great personal service and personal regard, Gillu did that for us. The movers sowed up ten minutes late (and apologized as if it had been an hour!) In 1 1/2 hours (an 1 1/2 early!!) They moved us out and into the new apartment. The men were efficient and so. They helped load the wardrobes (this is a college girl and had 5 wardrobes of clothes and shoes) there was no cost for the wardrobes. They helped me unload the items from my car, and helped us set up in the new apartment. It was truly the easist move I have ever done. In these times of bad sevice and consumer complaints, this was a winner! Lynne Lockwood, Palm Desert, Calif.

Elite moving service moved my on June 21, one of the hottest days on record. The movers arrived early, loaded and unloaded in good time. The serivce was fast and professional and nothing was damaged. My expectatins were fully met and I would use and reccommend this company to friends.

My recent experience (late March 08) with Elite Moving was great!
I had a full 2-bedroom condo. I moved several miles to a new bigger 2-bedroom apartment. This included things like a washer/dryer, refrigerator, bedroom, office, LOTS of boxes.
My contact at Elite Moving, Gilli, was friendly and helpful booking and setting up my move date. I made a rough list of things I wanted moved so she could book the appropriate amount of moving guys. She confirmed the day before the move that everything was still on and that the time and date were solid.
The day of the move, the guys from Elite arrived a little early which was great. They took look to see what was going to be moved and started working straight away, without hesitation. They had a two-axle truck slightly smaller than an 18-wheeler. They worked quickly, quietly and efficiently. They padded everything that needed it and wrapped the bed up in plastic to protect it from scuffs and dirt. Everything arrived and was set up where we needed it. They asked if they were unsure. They were done and I was in my new place with all my stuff in less than 5 hours.
That time included a separate stop en route to my new place... to drop off a washer/dryer which they expertly accommodated.
They worked hard from beginning to end and didn't ding a door or wall in my old place or new place. I was amazed.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend hiring them with a 2 or 3-man crew for your next move.
