So far, so good with G Force Chip


I ordered a G Force chip for my 2010 HHR. Got an email from the company that it shipped via U.S. mail within 2 days of my order. I received it a couple of days later. Installation was easy. Took me about 20 minutes. However, have not yet driven it enough to determine if the increase in mileage and performance is as stated in their advertising. Saw all the negative reviews on the internet, after I ordered the chip! Was worried. The car is performing well and the car's computer says the mileage is better than before for the driving I do. I'm still within the 14 day period. Perhaps their customer service has improved. I have no complaints so far. So far, so good. Will add more later. Terry B. Parker, AZ 9/1/12

It actually works!


I was skeptical just like I am sure everyone. But it works. I got 3 MPG better, when they advertised 4-7, but 3 is still amazing. I knew I wouldn't get the full 4-7. I saw a little boost in power as well. Shipping was a little on the slow side, but it was well worth it. I have recommended this to others as well.

I did not receive anything for over a month. I emailed and got and email back saying it shipped yesterday and would have within a week. Several week later I received chip with photocopied genereic instructions. Big surprise that even after several hundred miles no improvement in mileage or power. I have noticed it will not idle correctly with AC running. They 100 mile programming appears to be a stall technique so that you can not return within 14 days. Appears to be a scam based on other internet reviews.

Ordered the chip in May. Charged appeared on my card the next day. Chip arrived in 3 days. Installed the chip, and drove for over 100 miles. Noticed no change in power or fuel mileage. E-mailed for a return authorization number. Sent the unit back within the 14 day return policy. Got an e-mail stating my card will be credited. Noticed that I received a credit, but only for $51.25, not the $69.00 I expected. I guess I got off easy compared to some.
I will chalk up the money lost as a fee for not checking on the product before I bought it.
Update: After several e-mails Gforce refunded the entire amount I spent for the chip. They honored their return policy.

Very poor customer service related to email. No phone support. Desired a return on product because of item dissatisfaction and was denied (one day out of the 14 day return policy) until I threatened a credit card dispute. I was able to return the product successfully (one-time courtesy) and have received the refund in full. My only complaint at this point is that they tried to bribe me with $20 to remove my unfavorable review on here. [Sent from Terry, "If you wish to remove your review you just posted on Trustlink, we will even go further, and refund you an additional $20.00. So that would be $94.95 going to your account."]

Worst customer service there rude and they rip you off beware of 100 percent refund it is a big lie. They take 24.00 from the refund. Do not be fooled like us. Use caution.

Worst costomer service I have ever dealt with. Would not even let you talk then they hang up on you. I hope i get my chip after reading reviews i just dont know? Even if this product works would not buy from someone that is so rude. gforcechips.com sucks.

This business charges your card before they ship product. Then they set on the product until you hound them for the product. Customer service treats you like you should be honored to get screwed by them. Took 40 days to get the product that should ship in 7 to 10 days. I would not trust them for the time of day.....

I have to agree with BB here when I called company to follow up with my order they were very rude and short. In fact Terry even hung up on me before I was done talking and did not answer all my questions complement's makes me wonder how long will they be in business if this kind of action keeps going on. As far as receiving product in a timely manner if I don't have my goods in fifteen days I will call my credit card company and back charge them for not delivering products as described on web site. If I would have checked this company out I would have never placed my order with them there are lots of company selling this same chip. I will be back for further review of this business.

Worst costomer service I have ever dealt with. Web site says 95% of chips are programmed and sent in 24 hrs and 3-7 days for delivery. I ordered the chip for a xmas gift on nov 29th and still have not recieved it by Dec 24th. Got an e-mail confirming it was shipped 10 days after order date on Dec 9th! It's a computer chip for petes sake, shouldn't take more than a few minutes to program. Every time I call or write I get "Terry" who is rude and interupts you mid sentence and keeps giving lame excuses. Aparently the same excuses to all his customers from what I get from research. Also I can't seem to get past rude Terry. I sure hope the chip works better than Terry does, if I ever get it. I would definately not recommend anyone do business with this company. Don't send your money!!

Read up on their product and was impressed at what I saw. Also read their reviews, which they must have taken the top 5 and posted on their site. Ordered their chip for my truck and was told it would be received within 2 weeks. about a week later i was notified ( via email) the chip had shipped and two weeks later had not received it. After calling was advised it would arrive that week. Again did not receive. Called back and was told it would arrive the next week. Still waiting on chip to arrive. Phone support personnel are rude. I hope that after, better than a month waiting on this product it works better than their mailing calculations.
