Worst company ever


I'll be brief: this is a terrible company to work for, and a terrible company to have as a property manager if you are a tenant. They lie, cheat, steal, falsify records, cheat tenants out of security deposits, do not pay their vendors, micromanage and
scream at employees...avoid anything to do with this horrible company. The poster child for how NOT to run a business.

This Company is Awful to it's tenants


This is definitely the worst property management company out there. It took me weeks to get ahold of their office to talk about how awful the local management at my apartment was and they didn't care. They said there was nothing they could do. The management
at my apartment under them could not be worse. I can't overemphasize how bad it was trying to work with these guys. They never call back when they say they will. The buildings are not in good shape. They give out false information on most occasions (I refrain
from saying they lie). They make up excuses to keep your deposit.

No customer service


Save your time and money and do not move in to any of JRK properties. If you have an attorney send the apartment manager a letter threatening to sue, they will just ignore it. If you call the head office to complain about said apartment manager, they will not do anything about it. I'm not sure how you can just ignore a letter like that, but no one seems to care.

JRK Property Holdings a joke


not enough space given to accurately describe how disgusted I am with this company. My elderly mother lives in one of their Sr. only properties in Dallas Tx. One week ago her A/C went out. Today , exactly 7 days later it was finally replaced. We have constant 100+ degree weather . It was 120 in her apt. She has cancer and her health has been jeopardized due to the lack of concern in getting this matter fixed in a timely matter. Calls and emails to the corporate office went unanswered. The local office staff had their hands tied until they got approval from corporate. The maintenance man quit and they were not allowed to seek outside services. Day after day went by and nothing was accomplished until I sought help from another local complex who is also managed by JRK. They went out of the way to contact supervisors to get this problem resolved. Without any help from corporate the maintenance man from a property up the road took it upon himself to replace the unit and for that I am grateful. If left up to JRK and the lack of management they seem to have with their properties it would still be 120 degrees in her apartment. Customer service is non existent for the tenants.

JRK is a JOKE


I lived there for a year. They went thru 7 property managers. When they would get a good one that got along with the tenants they got fired. The maintenance man they had would respond to calls no matter what time it was. Well they fired him too for not working as fast as they wanted him to. There were shootings, break-ins, kids playing in the street with no supervision and talk about loud music you could'nt even hear your own tv. No one did anything about it even when it was complainded about. Glad I moved last week to a better apartment complex. NO stairs to climb, first floor, quiet, no car stero's blasting and a nice clean complex. NEVER,NEVER MOVE TO ANY OF JRK PROPERTIES.

I recently inquired about visiting this property and the lady at the desk by the name of Jennifer told me I could come by to see a demo property. When I called her back to sc;hedule a time she said since I just missed the 5 minute window of the last 11:30 showing she would not be able to show it to me until monday. She was rude and did not want to accomadate me or give me her corporate number. The first phone call she had said she had many openings and that she was showing a demo so it would not be the exact unit anyway. She was very nice to my husband but when it came to me coming there instead she was no longer available, not because it was rented either. Thanks,

I moved into Mountain Blvd Apts the beginning of 2010. And boy has it gown downhill since they changed owner's and management!
When I first moved in they raved about the positive family environment.
I work from home and because of that fact I have personally witnessed drug deals (from weed to crack) going down in the parking lots at all hours of the day and night.
They are currently charging me the same amount for a 1br 1 bath as they do for a 2br 2bath!
They downright refuse maintenance calls over the weekends. So if your toilet over flows, on Friday night you are out of luck until Monday morning!
I have heard other tenets complain of major leaks from the 2nd level apts into the 1st level apts!
And don't try to inform the district manager of any issues or expect any results from her. Cause her general attitude is one of careless disregard for the health or well-being of the families actually living here!
It used to be that unless you literally TRASHED your apt you got your deposit back. Now its a given that they will keep it even if your place is spotless!
It used to be because they are "pet friendly" when a person moved they would replace all the old, stained, smelly carpeting and paints the walls.
Now they hire a (loud) cheap carpet cleaning service to come in and clean the carpets once before moving someone else in!
They are GREEDY and LAZY!
DON"T MOVE HERE!

YOU KNOW PEOPLE WHO SAY J AND T ARE THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE IS SO WRONG .THEY GO OUT OF THIER WAY AND FIGHT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE HERE.PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THEY HAVE JOBS TO WITH RULES.JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE DONT LIKE WHAT THEY SAY OR HAVE TO DO SOMETIMES THEY WANT TO THROW A FIT.SINCE I HAVE BEEN HERE, AT ANY TIME THAT I HAVE NEEDED THEM FOR ANYTHING AND EXPERINCED THAT PUT THE PEOPLE FIRST AND ALWAYS THERE NOMATTER WHAT.LOOK PEOPLE GROW UP AND UNDERSTAND THEY ARE DOING THIER BEST.TO ME ARE DOING GREAT.PEBBLE BROOKE IS VERY CLEAN AND KIDS CAN BE KIDS AND HAVE FUN INSTEADED OF FEELING LIKE THEY ARE IN JAIL AND IF ANYBODY WAS SMART THEY WOULD COME AND GIVE IT A SHOT.TO ME I GUESS YOU CAN SAY THEY ARE THE GAURDIAN ANGELS OF PEBBLE BROOKE.I AM NOT TRYING TO SUCK UP OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT I MOVED IN AND HAS BEEN HERE FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND PLAN ON STAYING HERE 3 MORE IF NOT EVEN MORE.LIKE I SAID YOU REALLY NEED TO GIVE IT A SHOT AND YOU WILL NOT WANT TO LEAVE.THANKS

This company does not follow and abide by it own lease agreement. They violate the lease agreement over and over again with make up rules they want the tenants to follow. If you disagree with management, they refuse to accept your rent, than they charge you late and warrants fees which are unjustified. You can not make a tenant abide by rules and regulations that are not in the lease agreement. They need to change the lease to what they want the tenant to abide by and not just make up rules as they go along. When you try to complain, you are refused the information to contact the owners of the company, then if you contact their corporate legal department, to file a legal action, they refuse to give you their registered agent.

I must say they are really not for the customer. They don't care anything about the customer. I can vouch for that because, I am one of the customers. They have a poor property management. They never fix things on time. They let any and everybody move in, without proper screening. They also don't keep the proper up to date by remodeling, a lot of the property needs upgrading badly. I had a very bad molding problem, which I have brought to their attention numerous times. This problem still resides. They change policies and, don't bother to present a reason why? Why charge $5 a day until balance is paid? They haven't remodeled these apartments since 1996, which was the actual year it was built. Only reason I haven't moved is because of my financial position. They really need to get their business practices together.
