I sold some old gold jewelry scraps during the holiday season of 2010 at Jewelry 1 on 1 and was thrilled at the amount they paid! I had no idea that these pieces of "junk" were worth as much as they were. They even helped me take apart an old pair of reading glasses that has a gold nose bridge so I could sell that too! BST Buy Sell Trade Gold And Silver is the kind of place I was sooooo hoping to find, but honestly how many do you have to visit until you strike GOLD! Well... I did my homework first... then went online to search, didn't take long as I knew their location was just a few doors down from Monty's. I pulled up all the recent bids on eBay for scrap gold... got the price per gram quickly (by dividing the # of grams into the current bid.) Took the average, went over to the "recently completed" transactions, found all I could that sold and again got the price per grm, both were "today and yesterday" bids. Armed with the average from both current and recently completed transactions, I took out my trusty Weight Watchers scale... weighed each piece in grams. Multiplied by the average price pr gram from eBay. (Knowing a LOT of buyers are businesses like theirs buying from eBay- looking for the "going price in the marketplace") Once I multiplied the total gram weight for all my items times the average price per gram, it gave me a solid number. I never showed it to them. Both Eli and Maya were professional, warm, friendly and honest to the "T". They used a method I'm familiar with to test each and every piece (good thing as I missed a few that were 10kt not 14kt and 18kt which I wasn't certain about.) When it was all over and done... I had figured on 10% as a reasonable fee for them to keep, well you got it... our numbers matched identically, my boyfriend was stunned when I showed him the results!!! I will tell every person I know to go there... they are 100% trustworthy and so easy to speak to. A+++++++ in my book!! Go NOW while the price of gold is HIGH!! I felt like I was doing business in my own living room. 1 on 1 also pays the highest price for your items' I checked several places but 1 on 1 is where I want to do business. Had the opportunity to meet with Eli a few days ago (8/14) to discuss selling some old jewellery. I brought in about 10 pieces. We sat down and Eli explained the whole process as to how the exact karat of the gold is determined. The whole time he is sitting right in front of you. There are no smoke and mirrors. All very honest. The total value of the pieces came to $975.00. Eli graciously rounded the amount up to $1000.00 taking into account the distance we drove to meet with him. He even threw in a $5.00 Starbucks Gift Card. I had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with Eli yesterday (8-09-11). I have to say I got around $300 more then I had expected to get, he is honest and friendly. He does all of the inventory and testing right in front of you, your gold never leaves your sight, then once tested and weighed, he figures your totals right there...he then allows you the option to take it back, and think about it.
He quoted me $731 for my pile of broken chains, rings, etc, and my partner asked can you round it up to $750, and with no hesitation he did.
I can honesty say I had a pleasant, comfortable transaction, and if I find anymore gold lying around I will definitely go back.

I had a great experience selling my dental gold to Jewelery 1 on 1. I was treated with kindness and respect and will sell any and all my future scrap gold or coins to Jewelry 1 on 1. Don't sell your gold to jewellery stores claiming to pay 50% more. Sell your gold to a wholesale gold dealer. Jewelry 1 on 1 is a great place to sell your precious metals. I am on disability right now so I had allot of time to investigate places to sell my gold. I live in Simi Valley with allot of gold selling options between Simi and Woodland Hills. I chose Jewelry 1 on 1 and am really glad I did. I also received a free $5 Starbucks gift card. Jewelry 1 on 1 is just south of Ventura Blvd. There was plenty of parking right in front of the store. I found myself with many old family pieces, and had brought them in to my jeweler to get an estimate as to what it was worth. I was very pleased with the amount they gave me, but decided to get one more opinion, brought it into Jewelry 1on 1 and am I glad I did.
The shop was nothing fancy, but didn't have to be. They did EVERYTHING in front of me (unlike the other shop), from the testing to make sure it was all gold, then the testing to see what karat everything was, then weighed each pile according to karat, and finally adding it all up and giving me the price. It turned out to be 3 times the other estimate!!
There was never any pressure, nothing was rushed, I was told it would not be a problem to take it home and think about it. I walked out with cash, after a very enjoyable meeting with Eli. Both he and his wife, Maya were warm and welcoming and I HIGHLY recommend bringing in any and all gold and silver.

After searching the Internet for gold, silver and jewellery buyers we decided to drive 220 miles round trip to have Eli & Maya appraise our collection of coins. We had called ahead to verify they were interested in the collection. We decided that we had nothing to lose except our time and buying a tank of gas @ $4.05 a gallon. We arrived early in the morning as Eli had suggested. They offered to "feed the parking meter" if we were going to be there awhile, a seat and a beverage (bottled water). We can not say enough about Eli & Maya's customer service, on a scale of 1 to 10 - 10 being the absolute best they are an 11! Eli appraised three coins first and we received a value that was exactly what we believed to be the value based on our research. When we mentioned we had a box full of other gold & silver coins Eli asked to see what we had. After appraising the entire contents Eli offered us alot more than what we had expected or anticipated. Eli is honest, straight foward and explains the entire process in complete detail. He shook our hands, looked us in the eye and told us exactly what we had and how he arrived at the value. Eli told us that we were not obligated to take his offer that we could refuse & try/look for another buyer. We did business with Eli & Maya as they offered more than we anticipated (based on research, market value & prior appraisals). We received two (2) $5 Starbucks gift cards. When you meet them, do business with them it's as if your in their home having dinner & conversation with your family or very best friends. They are the absolute best. I was looking to sell some old gold jewelry and began by scouting around online. I found 3 scrap gold buyers in Woodland Hills that I was going to go visit.
-I started at a big chain store in the mall, that was advertising 30% bonus for your gold. They offer me $450 for my gold bracelet and a ring with 3 medium quality diamonds. (Total gold wt of about 34grams). They told me that the $450 was for the gold and that they will not pay for the diamonds.
-Next I went to a small store on the Blvd. that was advertising 10% bonus. They offered me $440 and said that if I came back on Friday when their diamond buyer was there, that I could get as much as $600 for the 2 items.
-Finally I went to Jewelry 1 on 1. The Jeweler Eli, was very nice and we sat down while he tested the gold. NONE OF THE OTHER PLACES TESTED THE GOLD. I'm a complete novice at selling gold and jewelry and had no idea what the process was or what the value of my jewelry was. I was afraid that I'd be cheated or at least, low-balled. I first went to a very large business that advertises with dozens of huge signs on their property. You can't miss this place as you drive by it on Sepulveda Blvd. They offered me $1,275. When I told the salesman that I wanted to get another price from another gold buyer he warned me that this price was only good for "today," a typical high-pressure tactic that's sometimes utilized by used car salesman! Jewelry 1 on 1 gave me $3,100, MORE THAN TWICE AS MUCH for the same package. The owner, Eli, welcomed me to his store, introduced himself and shook hands with me. He took the time to explain each step of the testing procedure to determine the purity of the gold and the silver as he went through the process and made sure that I understood everything that was going on. I'll never go anywhere else if I have jewelry to sell in the future. I was so pleased with the service and the price that I bought my wife a bracelet!
If you go somewhere else besides Jewelry 1 on 1, AT LEAST give them the opportunity to match the price you're offered. You might be like me and get more than twice what is offered elsewhere.
