I am a general contractor specializing in commercial construction so I didn't have much experience with residential pool contractors. My wife and I hired LA Custom based on a recommendation from a friend. LA Custom wasn't necessarily the cheapest but neither is my firm and I also have believed that you get what you pay for. Our friends really enjoyed the pool that Glen (LA Custom) built for them and my wife and I liked the design abilities that Glen possesses. From start to finish it was a pleasure working with their entire staff. They each professional and courteous. In fact, when it came time to refresh my mother's pool, we hired Glen for that as well.

We had interviewed several pool contractors prior to choosing LA Custom Pools. Some were cheaper, but none of them gave us the comfort level and personal attention the LA Custom Pools did. They were creative, easy going and paid attention to the details, at one point even talking us out of the use of a tile in favor of shale stone, yielding a much more attractive result.
Their staff was there when they said they would be. They always left the site clean when they left and there was always someone onsite I could easily communicate with. They stand behind their work and have been very responsive to problem requests well after they are done with the project.
I would definitely use them and again! A very professional company!

When we started our search for a pool, we met with 5 different contractors. Glenn's knowledge of the pool business and his patience and understanding of our needs and wants in a pool, lead us to choose L A custom pools . Glenn and his staff did not disappoint. From start to finish(which was finished ahead of schedule) there were no issues, surprises or additional unplanned costs. Everything they said they would do, they did. And it did not stop there. Jim has been just a phone call away to answer any questions regarding pool equipment and maintenance, since this was our first pool and we had a lot to learn. We would highly recommend L.A. custom pools to any friends that are wanting a pool.

I would not hesitate to recommend L.A. Custom Pools to anyone looking to build or remodel their pool. Of all the contractors that I have dealt with they have demonstrated the upmost professionalim and attention to detail. Their staff demonstrates outstanding customer service and delivers excellent build quality!
We made the mistake of initially choosing another contractor based on advertising and low bid price. The original contracter was unprofessional, had no customer service and had subcontractors that did substandard work. Eventually he abandoned our pool project and we currently have a lawsuit against him.
That's where L.A. Custom Pools comes in. They not only completed our pool, but have exceeded our design and build quality expectations.

Fantastic company to do business with. This was the first pool I had had built and they walked me through it step by step. They started when they said they would and finished when they said they would. There were no hidden costs.I still call them now, if I need advice or help and they are always willing to answer even the daftest questions! I have had no reservations about recommending them to anyone.

I highly recommend this company. My pool was a remodel, from start to finish, I was very happy. I knew when they were coming, each step with a detail explanation of what to except. Everyone was friendly, a real pleasure. Not to mention my pool and spa is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!

Not only do we have a beautiful pool and spa, but everyone at L.A. Custom Pools made our pool building experience a pleasure. Larry and Glenn worked closely with my husband and I to come up with a design that pleased both of us. They helped us to determine what we really wanted out of a pool and spa and how to make it a reality. Lynn, their office manager, kept in continuous contact with us to provide progress updates and even assisted us with some color and material decisions. Jim, the construction manager was always on site to make sure things were being done according to plan and was there to help if we had any questions or concerns. When the pool was complete, Jim gave us a tutorial that even gave me the confidence to help maintain and operate our new pool and spa. From the custom decking, to the gunite, every part of this experience was conducted in the most professional manner I have seen out of a contractor. I would highly recommend L.A. Custom Pools and Spas.

The attention to detail and follow up with crews were a step above any other projects Ive been involved with. The overall experience awesome, & final results were beautiful, the pool will be enjoyed for many years to come. I was happy I went with the solar option--3 days after install the pool maintained a temp of 86 degrees, perfect for swimming! Great Company----Great People!
