Chris Hewitt is a great bankruptcy attorney who filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy for me a year ago. I am writing this review to thank him for the service and the results that he brought for me in filing my bankruptcy petition. I was considering doing debt settlement but after he analyzed my situation it became clear that a chapter 7 bankruptcy was in my best interest. I had close to 100,000 dollars in unsecured credit card debt and it would have taken me way too long to save a substantial amount in order to settle the debt. During this period my credit would have suffered and I most likely would have been sued and received a wage garnishment. Chris Hewitt is a San Francisco bankruptcy attorney but handled my case in Modesto. He filed all the appropriate paperwork and kept me up to date and aware of all the procedural matters throughout my case. He gave me sound legal advice throughout the case and always answered the questions that I had. He was one of the cheapest attorneys that I found and handled my chapter 7 case for around 1000 dollars. He was always available to me by phone and he filed my case very quickly. Within 3 months I got my discharge and was able to start to rebuild my financial situation and my credit. Thanks for doing a great job and being so service oriented. I would recommend him as an attorney for any situation but he is a very skilled bankruptcy attorney.

Christopher Hewitt filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy a few months ago. I recently received my discharge and am now debt free. He did an amazing job and walked me through everything. I was so scared and did not know what would happen. He explained everything to me and I felt confident in my decision as soon as I made it. Christopher Hewitt was a pleasure to do business with. He is professional and very knowledgeable in all areas of debt, i.e., management, settlement, counseling and bankruptcy. I explained to him my situation and instead pressuring me into doing something that would benefit him more, he recommended the best solution to get me out of my predicament fast and as least costly as possible. Together, we determined that debt settlement was the best way to go, so I gave him all the necessary information to get started and Chris took care of the rest by contacting all of my debtors. The best thing about the entire process is I did it all from home. I never had to meet him in person or walk into his office. I found his services on the Internet and gave him a call. From that point on all of our business was conducted over the phone and by email. In the end, Chris was able to settle all of my debt for way less than what I owed. I highly recommend his services to anyone in need of help with their debt.

My first consultation with Chris Hewitt was over the phone, where I found him to be conversant and extremely knowledgeable, as well as sympathetic to the issues I was facing. Chris Hewitt is a GREAT attorney, filing bankruptcy for me and my husband was a very stressful time and Chris was there every step of the way. Chris removed all of the stress and fears that we had about going through this process. There was never a time that I could not get a hold of him, no matter the question he was always there to help us. His organization and attention to detail is amazing. As soon as we retained Chris for his services he had us filed for bankruptcy within two weeks and a court date shortly there after. Chris Hewitt was a pleasure to work with and really worked around my schedule and made himself available to me whenever I needed him. He had amazing customer service and answered all of the questions that I had during a period of high anxiety. Once I let the bill collectors know that I had hired him to either file bankruptcy or negotiate on my debt and gave them his number, the phone calls stopped. He handled all of my creditors which was a huge relief to me. He spelled out an aggressive attack and knew which creditors to handle first based on the likelihood of a lawsuit being filed and/or a good deal being taken off the table. He was able to keep my creditors at bay so that I could save enough money to settle my debts at way less than half of what I owed. I called a lot of other companies and law firms and many seemed willing to guarantee results which I could not believe knowing that debt settlement is voluntary on behalf of the creditors. Many companies were based in India and I did not trust giving them my personal information and all my financial information. I decided to go with Chris Hewitt for my debt settlement because I knew that as a California lawyer I had recourse to the Bar which he is a member of if he did not perform the duties that he said he would. I have read many reviews and articles on debt settlement before I called around and he was the most forthright about the process and did not guarantee anything but explained his strategy and what I would have to do to make it work. All I can say is that he really delivered and I would recommend him highly for anyone with debt issues that needs to either file bankruptcy or do debt settlement. He was also alone in my research as an attorney who would apply any fees paid toward debt settlement to my bankruptcy case if the creditors would not negotiate or I couldn’t save money in the way that I had planned. He is a really honest attorney and I suggest you call him for your debt solutions.

The Law Office of Chris Hewitt was great at handling my debt settlement. I was able to speak directly with the attorney multiple times and he always knew what was going on with my accounts and gave me clear advise. I did not feel like he made any false promises and was very realistic about what the outcomes would be. At the end of the year I was able to pay off all my credit cards at less than 40% of what I owed at the time I hired him. I would highly recommend Chris Hewitt for any one who has debt issues and does not want to file for bankruptcy.

Chris Hewitt is a phenomenal attorney. He was clear, concise, realistic and walked me through my bankruptcy with ease. I would recommend him to anyone who needs advice on debt issues and to find out whether bankruptcy is the best decision. It certainly was for me. I was able to save my house, and protect all my assets with his help. I did not believe that would be possible before I met with Chris Hewitt. I had spoke to many attorneys prior to retaining Chris and no one would give me a clear answer and what a bankruptcy would cost and whether I'd be able to keep my house and retain my possessions.
