I went to Mr. Lever to file BK a few years back. I always spoke with him and he was very good at responding via email to my MANY questions and worries. I had a rundown of all of my debts for our consultation. He was very relaxed and personable. He advised that the first half of the fee needed to be due by the time he filed the paperwork (which can take a bit as he notifies each place) and then the rest before we go to court. All of which he allows in payments. Beginning the day of the Consultation when I signed the Retainer, I was allowed to refer all creditors to him. He handled everything and was very detailed in making sure I knew how the hearing would go. I have referred family and a friend to him since.
It's hard enough when things come to the point of having to file for Bankruptcy. You feel embarassed and ashamed and do not want to deal with an Attorney that is going to speak down to you and charge sky high prices. Steven was none of these. I would definitely recommend him.
