My name is Jeremy McGhee soon I will commission in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. I was shopping online today Dec. 05. 2011 in search of a sliver dollar to present to my first official salute as tradition. That's when I came across Merit Financial Services, I saw a coin and decided that was the one I would like to have so I went to purchase the coin but instead an information box popped up asking for my name, contact, and a comment box, so I completed the box and submitted it. Exactly one minute later i had a phone call from Isaac Nuriani a representative of Merit Financial Services phone # 800.564.8189 ext. 314. He was very respectful and knowledgeable, he advised me that the Vice President of Merit Financial, Mike Getlin told him, to give me a free coin because I was about to commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army. And the reason for the free coin is that the President and CEO is a Los Angeles Sheriff and they are a proud sponsor of the Wounded Warriors Project. I think it is an honor that this company blessed me with a gift that is so meaningful to me and the tradition of the United States Army. A bit tough getting started
I'm looking to buy silver. I called Merit and was greeted by Rick. X 335 .
I guess I asked him too many questions. Shame on me. Rick pressured me again and again to buy now. And how much am I going to buy? And when? What am I waiting for? What am I doing with money in the bank anyway? He did answer some questions, thank you, but I knew I was on thin ice with him all along. In fact, I felt he was about to push me in. After maybe 7 minutes on the phone, he insisted on hanging up "So as to service some other people who want to buy right now." Of course, he didn't actually leave until asking me one last time whether I was ready to buy "right now.".
Frustrating! I even had to remind him that it was me who called him, and that because I had gotten to the point where I was genuinely interested in buying precious metals. I even had to tell him not to "condemn me" for asking him some questions. Unbelievable if you ask me.
Nevertheless, based on the reviews here, I think I'll call back and specifically ask for one of the other rep's who have been reviewed here. (I wonder if these other positive reviews are really legitimate.)
I still would like to purchase, but not by a high-pressure salesman.

Lori did a great job helping me make my first purchase through Merit Financial. She took time to explain the process, find out what my needs were and place my order without making me feel uneducated. I received my order faster than originally quoted. I would definitely use Lori and Merit Financial if I ever need their services again.

I would like to let you know about the outstanding customer service I received from Blake R. Skadron. I had never purchased any silver in my life. I saw an advertisement on the Fox Business channel for your organization and decided to call. I was connected with Blake and he was very patient answering all my questions. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explain how I could purchase silver from your organization.
I have to be honest; I did not make my purchase upon my initial contact with Blake. Blake followed up with me in a nice way just to make sure I did not have any other questions. merit be carefull
bought 700 half dollarsfrom merit wired the money. the next day triedto cancell my order.d martell said i couldnt when i told him i did some research this wasnt great deal he told me the coins where au to unc.when i got them the where well worn sent 200 back .when i got them they where worse .they dont stand up for what they tell you go to another company.

Prompt courteous professional gold/silver/coin purchase.
I noted their December/January promotions, and jumped on board with a gold/silver IRA. Bernard was the representative who helped me. He was a consummate professional, always available. He gave suggestions for purchases, but was never pushy. He even provided his cell number for when he was out of town. His promptness and availability allowed me to take advantage of a temporary dip in metals prices. The organization with whom Merit works to create IRAs (SDIRA) was also very good to work with. All in all a very transparent and reliable process in what can be an uncertain field. Thanks Bernard and Merit Financial!!

Michael Goldstein is a decent, honest professional who was constantly in touch with me. One of the reasons why I bought from the company and will continue to buy from the company he represents, is that Mr. Goldstein seems to be a forthright, and compassionate worker who delivered and satisfied on all counts. I purchased some Silver American Eagles through Merit Financial, and I had a great experience. I did some research on a few companies, and I found Merit Financial to have very fair prices and excellent customer service. I even had an error in my bank sending over my wire transfer, and my agent was more than helpful. He also gave me a follow up call, (as he promised), to tell me my shipment had left. New Purchase of Silver
I have not purchased silver until this month, and had a lot of questions to ask my Merit Financial advisor ( Issac Nuriani, 800-564-8189 Ext 314 ). Issac was very informative and answered all my questions. I decided to make a purchase of silver based on his recommendations for my situation. Issac has followed up with me to advise that he received my funds and has set up a delivery date for my silver. He has been very helpful with my transaction with no pressure whatsoever.

Purchase Experience Review
This was my very first gold purchase so I had no previous experience with Merit or with the acquisition process. Naturally, I had lots of questions. They answered all my questions with what I felt were honest answers. Since my first purchase, I have made several more purchases. They have delivered on everything promised as stated. I have never had a problem with any of my purchases. I look forward to making future purchases.
