I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is accepting credit cards as a method of payment!
We switched to Meritus Payment Solutions in 2011 for our credit card processing needs. We've been with them for over one year now. Our main motivation for switching was a savings in fees as compared to what we were paying through our bank. What we gained is so much more.
We exclusively use a virtual terminal to process credit card payments for our customers. The web based system provided by Meritus is far superior to what we were using. Their system is incredibly user friendly and efficient. The reporting portion is also easy to use and offers many options to view current transactions and history. With Meritus, our payments are posted into our bank two or three days faster than what were using before. And the best part is that this superior functionality is on top of the lower cost in processing fees.
Most importantly, my Account Executive, Warren Dichiara, has been an invaluable resource. The entire credit card acceptance process is very complex and if you do not understand it, it can be very expensive. There are numerous variables that affect the fees a company incurs to process credit card payments, from the types of cards being accepted to the way the cards are being processed. Warren has a very hands-on approach when working with his clients and it has been lifesaver to have an expert in all of this a mere phone call away.
Switching to Meritus Payment Solutions was one of the smartest decisions we've made. We are very happy with their service and level of professionalism. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is accepting credit cards as a method of payment!

We were very pleased to discover Meritus
It is difficult for a small-ish business getting reasonable rates as we do not have the gross sales and clout of the regional/national chains. Meritus promises to be the exception for businesses like ours. Our experience has typically soured after our signing on with a personalized company/bank being swallowed up in a short time by a "conglomerate" faceless, impersonal multinational with cascading "hidden" rates and inscrutable fees. This was the case recently when we left TransFirst (TransLink) after many happy years. We were very pleased to discover Meritus with its down-to-earth agreements/contract and personal interaction with us... we have high hopes that Meritus payment Solutions will remain "merchant-friendly". I would strongly recommend Meritus Payment Solutions to anyone who wants to save money on their monthly fees
Just like most, I am a little hesitant when it comes to switching credit card processors. Meritus Payment offers a full disclosure and ongoing education. My account representative, and her company worked hard for my business and they continue to work hard to keep it. . Having a dedicated representative means there is someone eager and available to take my calls or emails at all time during business hours. Customer Service is extremely important to me and this company offers it in a way that cannot be surpassed! My former processor required me to sign a contract with cancellation fees to guarantee my business terms, but not Meritus! They have my business because I gave it to them; not because of the constraints of a contract, that was demanded by my former processor. I would strongly recommend Meritus Payment Solutions to anyone who wants to save money on their monthly fees and have a dedicated account representative, who works to earn their fees every month.

I now have a great working relationship with Meritus, and we are working on new changes.
Our facility is a 172,000 square ft. facility which is unique and requires multiple financial transactions daily. Meritus Payment Solutions helped make this transition smooth. It was not an easy task, but they made it happen. My account executive stayed calm when complications came up, and we worked well together to solve problems.
I now have a great working relationship with Meritus, and we are working on new changes.

THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE NORM TO HELP US WITH OUR BANKING AND CREDIT CARD SERVICES. MERITUS WAS VERY GOOD AT EXPLAINING THE PROCESS TO US, AND OUR ACCOUNT EXCEUTIVE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO ASSIST US AND OUR SOFTWARE TEAM IN SECURING OUR PCI COMPLIANCE. ALTHOUGH OUR SITUATION WAS NOT TYPICAL, THERE WAS A GREAT DEAL OF KNOWLEDGE, PATIENCE AND DETERMINATION WHILE HELPING US THROUGH THE TRANSFERRING PROCESS. TODAY THAT IS A RARE FIND IN A COMPANY.

I found this website after I got burned from Meritus Payments Solutions. they claim my early termination fee equal to total of my reserve which is $7600. now I have my attorney on this case, I rather have my attorney spend that money than Meritus. Meritus PaymentS Solutions is scam big time. Please stay away from them.
