i ordered bedroom set and dining set for our new hour, delivery took 2 weeks and one of the pieces from sectional sofa was damaged. we reported to da stores and repalcement piece was shipped but it took da stores 4 days to process it. i advice company to process faster customer's requests

I didn’t know that the company has such wide range of authentic and contemporary furniture in its shelf. When I was ordering few of them, I only intended to buy an office chairs and tables for main office. But, when I looked in to their store, was so impressed with such newer and classical collection that I ended up ordering furniture for hoem as I got great leather sofas, couch. To my surprise everything was delivered safely at my place.

I chose few of the modern Italian furniture like C end table and Accent table to be delivered at my place. I was very happy with the deal and quality product and again I ordered some slipper chair and club chair that I urgently needed for home. It is great to shop for latest designer and modern stuff with this company.

There is hardly any time when you get good quality products along with great price and respected staff. I must admit that when I ordered my book cases and wall mount shelf, I was not sure of their quality and staff service. But now when the things have been safely delivered and installed, I must say it is very rare that you get good quality products along with great budget and even great staff service.

When I got in to website of this company, I thought it to be just like any other website selling modern furniture. But when I ordered my set of furniture, I saw the difference. I am happy with my set of sofa and table that I asked for and I am even happier with the staff service. They helped me with each small bit of work to make my home look great.

Worst company ever - borderline criminal. they take forever are slow to respond. they sent me a sectionall which was completely busted and its been 3 weeks and they still havent shipped out the replacement.. that too they say it will take 4 weeks when they do. the first shipment was not only broken but they originally told me a day and said they'd come in the a few hour window ... end of the day they still hadnt showed up and then finally got in touch with them in the evening to hear that they werent going to come that day --- after I had take the day off work. The folks there Ashley, Alma etc are unresponsive and bottomline not empowered to do anything to help. These guys are really the worst.
I saw their response- VERY WEAK and NOT true. I was upset because it took you 3 weeks to ship the replacement. If the shippers are taking 3 weeks, fine but it shouldn't take you 3 weeks to get the replacement out of your store. This is the tip of the iceberg, the service is poor and anyone who googles modernfurniturewarehouse.com reviews would know this. I was an idiot and didnt. Lesson learned.

Customer was provided a discount and white glove service for replacement. Customer was upset due to transit time of white glove delivery. White Glove transit time is clearly listed our site as:

I ordered dining set and curio. Table was delivered i good condition and unfortunately curios glass was lost, reported to DA Stores. Issue was resolved within 2 weeks i advice company to try resolve issues faster

Special Orders take 6 to 10 weeks to be received from production in order to ship directly to customer. Customers are advised in advance the item is a special order and of shipping timeframe and all customers are required to sign and confirm order. Also, Special Order terms and policies are listed clearly on our site.

Online shoppers beware! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They do not follow up, or follow through on orders. The only time they contacted me was to get my credit card number (they claim did not keep on file). I ordered a sofa and a matching coffee table last August, and after email inquiry and a long wait my sofa finally arrived in November. Emailed and asked about the table and was told that it was still on back order. Waited till January 2011 and emailed to find out the status and was informed via email that they have no record of me ordering the coffee table and the received another email with "perhaps you ordered the coffee table from another company." After several calls and emails they finally acknowledged that I did order the coffee table and was given three option: a substitution, reorder and get it delivered around end of April or May, or a full refund as third option. Opted for a full refund and was told that the refund check was mailed, will be mailed over and over but they never delivered. They finally credited my Credit Card account partially when I filed a complaint with the BBB and the California State Attorney's office of Consumer Affairs. They somehow satisfied both above agency and case was closed, but they still owe me the remaining amount and an apology letter. They kept emailing me that check will be sent and asked for my home address (not on file???) which I kept emailing them , but still no check. I am still waiting for my check for remaining amount and an apology letter. I have all email, phone records and other docs to back up my complaint.

DA Stores is a dishonorable pack of thieves. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. First of all, when you receive their invoice, the bottom half of the page is fine print - read this carefully. It is legal terminology designed to make it near to impossible to return or exchange the product without excessive fees. DA is a middle man. The furniture is coming from another company and there is also a shipping company to deliver. DA will charge you fees for practically everything. For example, must have the original packaging in order to return. They have a shipping company that is very hard to work with (won't return calls and and once they deliver the product, takes all the packaging away) makes it impossible to return plus a 10-20% restocking fee. Then DA Stores will also make you pay for shipping back to the warehouse in the East Coast, being a California customer & DA Stores a CA business makes this an insane process. Delivery Time is indicated on invoice as NOT GUARANTEED. In my case, DA Stores took 8 weeks to deliver & they also lost a box. I have a incomplete bedroom set and a $2,000 bill. A good chance your CREDIT CARD CO WILL NOT PROTECT you because of the fine print on the invoice receipt. The only alternative left is small claims court with court fees and plaintiff-serving fees. BEWARE !

We require customer sign Purchase orders, in order to make sure that customer check their contact info and product they ordered. besides that we inform about our "Terms and conditions", we want to make sure customers are aware. Customer states that she ordered in different color, however on Invoice signed by customer it was right color. Customer also discard boxes, which means that products cant be returned

Just got my lamp, unfortunately one box was lost with Fedex. I called company right away and they shipped out replacement. Overall good experience

Terrible & Disorganized . Bought a sink online status states "25 in stock , Ships in 1-3 days. Delivery estimate: 1-3 weeks" Got an email from them 3 days later stating "this item is on back order until the end week of ( the next month)" and shipping will be another 2-3 weeks. Talked to Live support online, who says there's 15 available ! then when i gave her my order info she changes it to out of stock status !?!?! Mind you, website still says "24 in stock". JUST DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE CLOWNS.

I ordered coffee table set before from this company and delivery took a little bit more than two weeks, coffee table were in good condition however description on site could better, there is not enough information about details. I would advice Modern Furniture Warehouse to be more details

I order a sectional from these people, knowing that it will take weeks for it to arrive. When it arrived it was damaged, there were holes through all the packaging which damaged the leather, two holes. I asked for my money back because I didn't want to wait another 6 weeks. They didn't want to do that. I also like the sectional even though it was damaged. The delivery company was contacted and an actual claim assessor came to my house and also documented the damage. I have over 20 pictures of documented damage, which I send to ModernFurnitureWarehouse. I opened up a claim number with them, and they told me to contact the delivery company. The delivery company said they cannot talk to me since ModernFurniture Warehouse were the ones who filed the claim!!! They did not respond to my phone calls and nobody knows what's going on. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. IT'S BEEN A MONTH AND NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED.

Is this company for real or just a scam? For My experience with this company is horrible, its dealing with a bunch of non professional people. For starters, when I placed my order they said 3 weeks after not receiving within the 3 weeks I was informed they cancelled my order. I'm going on almost 3 months and still no couch. I call each week and always told we will contact you next week, of course that never happens. Today I called was transfered a few times to people who couldn't help or didn't answer the phone. I've already paid 50% and I'm in the process of trying to get my money back. Based on what I've experienced thus far its going to be a hassle. I still think this company is shady and would never buy or recommend them to any friends or family.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered a couch on 6-6-10, and was told it would be delivered in 6 weeks. They charged my card, and after the 6 weeks, I called and they said it would be in the next week, after that it turned to the end of the month, and then the next month. After 16 weeks I received my couch, completely damaged, and broken. It was not in a crate, just warped in paper! The couch was sent back to be repaired, I tried to get my money back at this point, and because I signed the contract, I was not able to. They told me it would take a week to get the clam on the damage...( it took 2) then they said 2 days to fix, and send the couch back... 3 weeks later still not fixed. Now they are saying it is not fixable, and they have to order a new one!!!! I still don't have my couch, but they still have my money...Almost 6 months, and I still don't have it! Do not buy from this company!!!!

Customer put a note on delivery receipt that sofa is damaged, we will send inspector to inspect product and if damage minor and can be fixed, we will fix it. if its not fixable we will order part
