Absolutley Horrible. Stay Away

Both sides of the move were severely delayed and took much longer than any of the movers had in my previous 3 moves. VERY unprofessional labor that made my wife uncomfortable. No communication of where my belongings were at any given time. Finally delivered 8 days beyond the delivery window after blowing 2 earlier promise dates. Much damage to our belongings, No empathy or caring from customer service. Going through the claims process now and don't expect much out of these people. If they had a negative star rating I would max it out. This was our 4th family move and we have never had a problem. Do not use these people.

Update 5/1/12. Found more damage, noted missing power tool, Dyson vaccuum cleaner. They sucked so bad loading I could not be there when they finished. Don't make that mistake. Get a legible copy of everything. Mine are not. Never got a call from anyone. (And don't wish to remain anonymous should they post a reply to that effect).

We regret to hear of your expressed displeasure in your recent interaction with our company in coordinating your relocation as well as the delay occurrences that may have caused any inconveniences. Unforeseen circumstances are liable to occur, given the nature of the moving industry, causing delays in pick up/delivery of your shipment. All dates requested are estimates and are picked up and delivered within reasonable dispatch and reasonable time. We make every effort in performing our customers' moves within the requested moving dates as contracted and try to accommodate our customers despite circumstances that occur beyond our control but unfortunately at times our efforts prove futile. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

Our team at Nationwide Relocation Services apologizes for failing to meet your expectations and displeasure with your overall moving experience. Our records indicate a claim form was a sent to be completed and returned to our office for processing. We strongly recommend you submit this and all necessary requirements as soon as possible as we would like the chance to address your concerns. We value you your shared feedback and appreciate your business. You may contact our office in regards to this response at 1-888-219-7171.

Sincerely,

Nationwide Relocation Services

Fast and Efficient

Unbeluevably fast and efficient. I was moved in by 11 am and they only came at 9. The move out of my old place was also great.

Checked and No Damage

Moving is a complete pain in the ass but Nationwide was a great choice and I had virtually no problems. They were a little late coming for pick up but when they got there, they worked quickly and were careful moving my stuff. No damage to anything...I checked it very carefully. They actually told me to as it was coming off the truck. Honest, hard working movers and I'd hire them again in a second.

Don't Do It

The reason you hire a moving company is for the convenience of not moving the items yourself. How about you hire sales reps that convey all of the true facts NOT what they need to say to get your deposit. This has been a horrible experience. I moved into an apartment on the statement of an arrival date March 9th. Knowing that it may take a couple of days on the drive due to weather. They picked up my items on the 3rd of March. Charging us for boxing things like TV's. The sales rep forgot to mention that you need to box these. Let me break this down. 8 dish pack boxes. 2 mattress covers. 4 mirror cartons 3 large tv boxes and then shrink rapping cost us 700.00. (protective covering is supposed to be included in the price)Then we were told there was a weight issue. (BS we don't have heavy items by any means) Nationwide has absolutely NO communication with the companies they hire and their reps need to all get their stories straight. I had to call the actual movers today and received every bit of information I asked for from Nationwide for over a week. I have heard from more then one that they are on route. I spoke with a manager on the 8th she said she would call me back with weight tickets and that the items haven't even left yet (this is the 8th) Not only haven't they left yet but they took our items in the opposite direction to NEW YORK (this is one of their managers trying to assist me) I have YET to hear back from her. Highly unprofessional. The reps I have spoken to are sympathetic but lost. I don't need sympathy. They are costing me money I don't have. I didn't need to rent an apartment to sit in it empty. My fiancé is now in our other apartment empty waiting to see what this company will come up with in upcharges. All I am hearing is that I signed a contract that had a time frame. All I am telling them is YOU GAVE ME A VERBAL time frame had me sign a contract and when you got your deposit you just threw us to the side to deal with the inconveniences. I know have to purchase house hold items cause we are sleeping, eating on the floor with only clothes and bathroom items in the house. I asked them for a refund or for them to bring my things back to the apartment and THEY want to charge me " for their service" and to take it back to the apartment. WHAT SERVICE???? IT IS THE 13TH AND OUR THINGS HAVENT EVEN BEEN SCHEDULED TO LEAVE. This ordeal isn't even over yet but believe me I will go to the BBB and post over facebook and blogs about the way this company will take no responsibility for the things your sales people promise. Don't use them. Don't do it!

Solid Movers

The movers at Nationwide were UNBELIEVABLY helpful. The coordinator I talked to via the phone completely set me up with great movers, talked me through the process (how the estimate was given, what time/day they'd be coming and what I'd be charged). They were on time and nothing was damaged in the move. It's great to have some solid movers in your back pocket and I'll definitely reccomend them to anyone I know who's moving.

Good With Valuables

I felt like my valuables were in capable hands with Nationwide Relocation services. I have a few things I was moving that have been in my family forever and I was defininterly scared that they'd either get completely lost in the shuffle or damaged. My trunk arrived without a scratch on it and all the dishware that's been passed down in my family for ages didn't have even a chip. I'm VERY glad I chose Nationwide and I'd reccomend them to anyone moving very valuable items

Glad I went w Them

I was going between Nationwide and one other company because their quotes were exactly the same. The woman I spoke to when I called Nationwide seemed to know more about the moving business, however, and answered all my questions about how I would be charged without hestitation. I didn't feel like they were trying to rip me off (I felt a little bit of that with the other company...I won't mention any names). Very glad I went with Nationwide

Really Super Awesome and Great

Nationwide is really super-terrific and great! All of their business practices are super legit! For example, they never call people eight million times to harass them for a deposit, only to fall off the planet once the customer has paid! Also, they never give you a lowball estimate and then raise the price after they have your stuff hostage! Also, they don't have really stupid customer service reps writing sub-literate replies to their Trustlink reviews! They totally don't have 5 different company names to keep people confused about who they are and how they operate! And there definitely aren't a million customer reviews on the internet testifying to how awful they are -- so don't go looking!

Don't use this company.

Don’t use Nationwide Relocation Services. I’ve never used a moving service before so I relied on their expertise and professional advice and bottom line I was mislead, given unrealistic information and this move ended up costing me $2100 more than the quote. What should have cost me around $2500 cost me over $4000. I disclosed everything I knew to them, even the size of the POD they were unpacking and now I have to find $3390 in cash for them to deliver. After more than 10 phone calls I still don’t have my household goods, don’t have a date for receiving my household goods, they can’t tell me why they underestimated this move so badly and no one wants to help me or take any responsibility for the bad estimate. DOUBLE the price – how can a professional company that does this on a daily basis be so off on the quote? BEWARE if you are considering this company. My advice – check out another company.

One of our main goals is to be able to provide exceptional customer service in all aspects of coordinating the moves we are hired to perform. It is disheartening to hear of your expressed unpleasant experience and interaction with Nationwide Relocation Services.

As it relates to the total cost of the move, we always encourage our customers to relay all items to be transported in detail and the logistics of the area to be serviced to our representatives in order to provide the most accurate estimate of service charges. Providing that this is relayed, a binding not to exceed estimate is supplied based on these items as well as the services to be performed. However, if additional services are provided at the time of pick up or delivery that were not apart of the original contract or if the actual weight is more than estimated, the customer is responsible for these additional charges. This is explained in the terms of agreement provided to for review at the time of booking. The inventories taken for the items to be transported at the time of pickup indicate that more items were transported than initially provided at the time of booking.

Our company does not believe in misleading our customers or misrepresenting our services and we stand behind this 100%. We notice since your posting there has been communication between you, our valued customer and our office in regards to addressing your concerns and a mutual resolution has been reached. We were also able to confirm that your submitted claim is currently in process and once settlement has been determined, you will be notified in documentation of the outcome.

Our company wishes to extend our deepest apologies for the frustrations and inconveniences caused in reference to your relocation. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns as we do appreciate your business and hope you will allow us to redeem your faith in our company of the opportunity ever presents itself. It's so hard to describe the absolutely terrible experience I had with this shitty company. Let's begin with one simple fact: Moving companies like Nationwide are supposed to make your move less stressful... can we agree on that intention? Let me describe to you the absolute absurdity that was my experience with this scam job of a company, and try to absorb the amount of stress that they caused throughout the moving process. My initial contact with them was fine. I got on the phone with Pam Ling a couple weeks in advance of my move and she gave me the price, provided the moving documents for me to sign (7 signatures required), and we were off. I paid my $1000+ deposit, and things started swimmingly. Jump ahead to 2 days before the "pickup window". I get a call from some incredibly disrespectful hoodrat in dispatch. She asks me if I can move my pickup window to the 29th/30th. I live in an apartment, lady - I need at least 1 day to clean it out or I lose my deposit. No, my pickup window needs to remain the 27th/28th. The next day, 10/26.. Some assclown calls me once again asking if I can move my pickup window to the 29th/30th. I hint at being able to consider the 29th because I really don't want to have to deal with another company in trying to move 2000 miles. I have to be out of my apartment on the 30th. I tell him that I'm going to be pissed if I have to move out on the 29th instead of my moving window according to the signed contract and I will begin looking for alternatives to Nationwide scamjobs, inc. He tells me he'll call me back in 10 minutes to let me know what he finds out. He didn't call me back. That's strike 2 in the "screw you lottery" that they seem to be playing. The first day of my moving window, 10/27 arrives. I call my moving consultant who I've not heard from since I signed 7 times. She tells me that she doesn't have a status update on my move and that she'll look into it and call me back in 15 minutes. 2 hours later, 4 calls to her, 1 voicemail, and 1 email later, I decide to call their customer service department. I feel sorry for the person I'm about to scream at, but these people bring it upon themselves. She tells me that no moving truck has been assigned to my move. I tell her that this is the first day of my 2-day moving window. She's been through this before, and calms the situation but offers no comfort for myself. Soon after, I get a call from the assclown dispatcher of 10/26. He tells me that 10/29 is no longer an option and that the only way I'm getting a truck before 11/1 (2 days after I'm required to leave my apartment) is if someone cancels. He also lets me know that if I call on the 29th - a day before I get kicked out of my current apartment - that I can call them and get my $1000+ deposit back. Great, so now I have to wait until you don't show up and then find another way to move my shit with NEGATIVE ONE days notice. Fast forward to a couple hours after assclown dispatcher. I call U-Haul and they bend over backwards to get me a truck and a trailer to tow my car for $1000 less than nationwide. Here we sit, ready to go pick up a moving truck after nationwide completely abandoned us. I now have complete control of my move - I can be packed when I want, I can load the truck when I want, and I'm going to get my stuff in my new apartment when I show up to my new apartment instead of waiting a week with Nationwide Screwing Company. Anyone reading this, I implore you to skip nationwide relocation services. They are a dishonest pile of BS that has no business existing. There are hundreds and hundreds of reviews out there and you should listen to every word of them because they're ALL true, despite what hoodrat #1 or jersey shore #2 dispatcher tells you. Do not go through the stress of dealing with this scambag outfit because all you'll be doing is making your move miserable.

Isn't it funny how all of the "positive" reviews sound exactly alike? And how they all sound exactly like Nationwide's terrible illiterate advertising boilerplate? It's almost like their 10th-rate P.O.S. customer service reps are coming to Trustlink to post reviews of their own company, because their reputation is so god-awful that they have no other choice!

I contracted Nationwide Relo for my family's move from Tempe, Arizona to the Chicago area. I am extremely thankful for all of their support. We initially had a hold of Patricia who walked us through the booking process and informed us of the possible price difference from our estimate. We ended up paying higher because of the weight, but we were charged and gladly paid what I feel is a very good price. We had good movers who put stickers on every piece of furniture in order to keep track of our inventory. They arrived within our requested window. I asked for extra helping hands since we were moving two homes into one! Each service fee was reasonable, though I must advise any potential customers to always read and check to make sure what movers are trying to charge you. I always read my contracts before even considering signing them. That is something you learn after being serviced by any moving company (or mobile provider, bank, etc). Nationwide really pulled through and met my expectations. I'm glad to share any further information with you if you have any questions.

Nationwide Relocation Services was the worst customer experience I have ever had from End-to-End in my life. These guys are criminals (literally I called the police several times). They picked up a week late, and delivered a month late...a $1600 quote ended up costing me over $8000 in plane tickets and gas and taking time off work to wait for a moving team that wasn't showing up. The salesman, Howard Melnick, can sell! That's it. After I put down my deposit it was an absolute nightmare, ridiculous charges, damaged my furniture and my new place...I'm still waiting on a compensation check...and its been almost 2 months. Save yourself alot of pain, and don't call these guys.

Sincerely, Rob

I have been so fed up with moving companies low balling their prices, cheating and lying straight to my face about fees and hidden costs they apparently forget to mention that now that I finally moved with minimal complaints I am taking my time to congratulate William Betler and Pamela Ling for their outstanding work with my recent relocation to New Jersey. I just moved 2 days ago from Ann Harbor Michigan and to be honest, I thought my move was simply not gonna happen at all. I had aI had over 4 thousand pounds (4858 to be exact) and could but refused to pay over 3 thousand dollars for a move. Keep in mind that once you move, even if you take all your items with you there are many additional charges that need to be taken into consideration such as utilities (and installations) groceries and all miscellaneous things that you need to get for the new apartment. I was very straightforward with all the companies I contacted. I finally stayed with 3 quotes: 2 were a bit over 3 thousand because according to them, high season, hurricanes and high gas prices made it imposible for my quote to be less than that. Mayflower quoted me for 3, 247.87 while United Van Lines told me they could beat that price for $150 less which was roughly $90 more...NOT BAD AT ALL. But then, Nationwide Relocation offered me 76% off that latest price and would include some packing and packing materials as well. Too good to be true. But I decided to take upon their offer. 3 days before my move I heard from my landlord that the apt was not going to be ready until a week after which meant I couldnt move. I called Will back and I thought the end of my "good move" was soon reaching me. There were gonna be some additional prices added because of the last minute change and lack of trucks to serve my move. He told me he and Pam would work something out and call me back. Those must have been the longest minutes in my life. But when they called me they offered me the new window, plus the storage for an additional 336.79. UGH!!! I wish I could charge the apt complex but anyways, I did accept and the move came down to 2168.51. I can only say I had good service and the good pricing I was looking for.

I am trying to get into the habit of leaving reviews whenever I get good and bad service. Being informed is super important for everyone...so Here it goes:. I recently moved with Nationwide relocation and I must say, I couldnt be happier. They helped me out a lot working with my budget and my time frame. You know what they say: time is money and they certainly know about it.
