My son was moving from NC to MA and needed a moving company to move his heaviest belongings. We would be trailering the smaller items in his 12' trailer.
I spoke with Stephanie at Nationwide Van Lines who was extremely helpful and gave us a binding rate several hundred dollars below all other companies I had contacted. I had spoken with numerous other companies and they all seemed to bad-mouth the others. It became more and more confusing and a hard decision to make. After checking Nationwide Van Lines on TrustLink and seeing all the positive reviews we settled on Nationwide.
Stephanie thoroughly explained the entire process. We gave her a list of the items to be moved including four very heavy rolling tool boxes with their locked contents. Stephanie explained that unless we added other things, the price was binding and wouldn't change due to weight limits as with many other companies.
On 10-5-09 Sergio and Umberto arrived and packed up everything to be moved. They were extremely efficient and fast workers as well as very pleasant to deal with. They wanted me to contact Nationwide the next day and set up a delivery date and we selected 10-10-09, giving us time to make the long drive and get settled at home before they arrived.
The next day Mary called from Nationwide and wondered if they could change the day from 10-10-09 to 10-8-09, saying that if the delivery remained the 10th, the items might have to be transferred to storage. She recommended the earlier date so the items could stay on the truck and be delivered directly. We agreed with her 100%
On 10-8-09 I got a call that the truck would be arriving in 20 minutes. Umberto was still on the truck with our things but Sergio had to return to Florida due to a family emergency and Izzik had taken his place. Both men were extremely efficient and friendly and a pleasure to do business with. All the items were delivered and none were damaged.
If we are making a move again, I would not hesitate to use Nationwide Van Lines. All the employees we dealt with either by phone or on the trucks were so pleasant and caring to deal with. Kudos to everyone at Nationwide!

Nationwide Movers
We highly recommend Nationwide Movers Our move was from FL to NC. Uzi and his partner arrived to pack our furnishings on time on the designated date. They were professional and a pleasure to have in our home. We had a quoted price guarantee and except for the mirror that we forgot to include, the price was as promised. We had a narrow window for delivery in NC and even though we kept calling to get information everyone was polite and never became annoyed. With a day to spare our furnishings arrived n NC. We then met Issak and his partner. Their arrival was within 15 minutes of the promised time. They again were very professional and did everything we expected and more. Our final payment was as guaranteed. We all have heard frightening stories about moving companies but none of that applies to Nationwide. They were GREAT.

Nationwide Van Lines Worst Movers Ever
This move went bad from the first day the movers arrived to pack my household goods. Originally I was told it would be one day of pack and move the next day. Instead they packed and moved in the same day despite a rule in our condo that all moves need to be completed by 5 pm they kept working until 9 pm giving me my first headache from their actions. When contracted I was told storage which we needed for 3 months would take place in Plantation, Fl, it was a key reason I chose this company. Instead the goods were stored in Hackensack, NJ. When I needed a box that got swept up in the move and was not left for me to take by car I could not get to it at all. The driver even showed me web pictures of where my goods would be stored in Florida and yet never told me they were really going to New Jersey. Finally upon delivery I discovered that two expensive pieces, one a brand new Herman Miller Eames Chair cost $3999 and a BDI Media Center costing $1500 were damaged in the move. From the damages it was obvious it was from rough handling. I did take out replacement value insurance but of course repair of these items came to $1000 and the insurance has a $500 deductible so the move just cost me $500 more and I have two pieces of furniture that are not worth their original value. I would not recommend this company. My experience has been awful. I did my home work and found no bad reviews for this company but considering my experience I wonder why there are only good reviews posted for this company.

Great Move
Everyone connected with the move was considerate and personable. The drivers, packers and crew were polite and made every effort to make sure every piece was packed with the same care we would have used.
They worked with us to meet our schedule needs and were a pleasure to work with.
A definite will use again!

Indrek was our driver. He and his crew were fantastic! They were very efficient. They were able to pack our move and deliver it to our new place on the dates we wanted. I would gladly use them again.

Very professional
Driver and crew were extremely professional, courteous and most importantly,
careful with our furniture and fragile items. They took their time and really wrapped and protected everything to the best of their ability.
Prices(very reasonable) and delivery time were as stipulated. I would absolutely use them again.

Move from NJ to Fl. Feb. 23, 2012
I was very impressed from start to finish with this Co. I checked out other companies but found Nationwide to be the most Honest and thorough. My questions were answered honestly. The salesman Rick Vera was a great help and Gail handled the dispatch end very professionaly. Ron, Jay and Elvis came into the house ready to work. They were personable,polite and very friendly. If I ever move again I would definitely stick with Nationwide. Everything arrived when they said it would with no damage. And I was happy to see the same three guys. And again they were all as cordial and worked as hard as they did at pick-up. They were the best crew as far as I am concerned. They worked well together, I have to say Jay is the comic of the group. I enjoyed meeting them, and working with them. If I could give them 10 Stars I would.

My relocation
The pick up drivers were 5 star quality. Specifically, Jordany and his crew were very helpful, polite, and punctual. On the actual delivery, the crew was extremely efficient unloading and ensuring that all items were accounted for according to the inventory manifest. My only issue was how they failed to place the items in the storage facility according to my instructions. They were too anxious to unload the items to make the next delivery.
Additionally, I would suggest to a potential customer, to make sure you understand all of the language of the contract with the sales person who gives you the initial in home visual. If in doubt to any language of the quote and what the specifics mean, it may mean an additional hundreds of dollars.
Overall, I would rate my experience a 4 star, but give the pick up crew a 5 star rating.

East coast moves
We moved from NYC to DC in December, 2011. This company was exactly what we needed. The sales person was extremely friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The quote was specific, honest, and reasonable. She sold me what I needed, with no pressure, even advising me on how to keep costs down. The leader of the team was one of the most professional, efficient, and hardworking individuals I've ever observed. The nature of this business is that a team needs lots of lead time for the unexpected, and so they arrived late for both pickup and dropoff, but the wait was worth it. Our stuff arrived intact and complete. They reassembled everything as promised. Because they specialize in East Coast moves, they were able to accomplish our move on extremely short notice, as they have a fleet of trucks constantly going up and down the coast. I strongly recommend them to anyone who is planning such a move.

No Surprise Move Thanks To Nationwide Van Lines
We hired Nationwide Van Lines to move our things from Virginia to our new home in Florida. They gave us a good estimate. In the end we ended up shipping more things and the additional charges were very reasonable.
The driver and crew were the same for pick up and delivery and they even helped us drop our things off at two different locations.
We've had half a dozen corporate moves over the years, but this was the best ever. No damage, no surprises and no excuses for showing up late. Excellent all around.

Move from NYC to Charleston, SC, Accomplished On Time and Professionally
We recently moved some large furniture pieces from our apartment in New York City to our house in Charleston, SC. Nationwide Van Lines provided us with the best quote and they accomplished the move within the specified time frame efficiently and with care.
Both the pick up in New York and the delivery in Charleston required shuttle service, but that was not a hindrance to the service provided. The movers were polite and efficient and thoroughly professional. The furniture arrived in excellent shape.
My only complaint was that I had to complete a lot of paperwork in the apartment at the time of pick up, despite having done it all online prior. This, I understand, is an industry requirement. It was a pain, but not a monumental one. Perhaps if I had been told to expect it, I would not be complaining about it.
I would recommend Nationwide Van Lines without reservation, and I would use them again without hesitation.

Can a moving experience ever be a pleasure?
I was pleasantly surprised how smooth the move went. I have had many bad experiences with moves in the past but this one was a pleasure.
first, the movers were polite and respectful. They took their time to make sure all our stuff was packed properly and secured. I was surprise how well they wrapped everything.
Ron, the person overseeing the move was friendly and understanding and never was frustrated with his responsibilities.
I would highly recommend Nationwide Van Lines and would use this company without hesitation again in the future.

Nationwide moved my son's apartment contents from NC to NJ. Izzik and Yaron were very polite and professional. They called me several hours ahead to give me a more exact time for their arrival. They were efficient in the packing and courteous with the contents. They also delivered the contents and again were courteous regarding their arrival time by calling ahead.

The drivers that delivered my furniture from O.C. Md. to Cape Coral, Fl. were the best of the best.They handled all of my furniture with care and so very polite. Set everything up that could be set up and put everything wherever I ask. They couldn't do enough to make me happy. The movers for this move were Jordan and Clotaire.

Nationwide Van Lines put on a front when making my moving reservations. They offered a month of free storage until we got settled in Florida from South Carolina. They picked our belongings up on 8/13. Because our place was not available until 9/17, they charges us 5 days of storage for about $100. Mine you now, a month of storage is $249 with Nationwide Van Lines. What a rip off.
Nationwide Van Lines never initiated any of the phone calls when it came close to my delivery date. I have given two finally prices when it came time for delivery. It was 5 days pass my delivery date before our belongings arrived. There was no compensation from they being late.
We received busted boxes, broken dishes, even my cherry wood dresser is busted and warped. The driver had the nerve to tell me that it was cheap wood.
I will never recommend Nationwide Van Lines to anyone, not even my enemy.

The shipment was delivered on 9/21/2011. I do understand that you are concerned about the storage payment but please understand that you received one month for free and this is a prorate charge which most companies wont even do and charge for a full month. When I made the most important decision in my life to relocate, I did not know where to begin. However, as things begun to fall into place, I started thinking about who would deliver my personal belongings with ease and do so caringly. I researched many reputable moving companies and bypassed NationWide moving company throughout my search. But I kept coming back to their name. So finally I called them. I begun the process of dealing with this move with Kevin Shaw, who was excellent, friendly, personal, yet professional, I knew I had made a wise choice to go with this company. Throughout the process, Kevin Shaw kept in contact with me, always wishing me well and caring about my move.
The big day came. The movers kept communication with me on their route to my home. Assuring me that they were coming. Izzik Malka and Stanley Alexandre showed up at my door with big smiles, caring hearts and ready to get down to business. They wrap my fragile items delicately and moved my boxes as if they were also fragile. They worked carefully, but quickly, as if my time was very valued. They were personable, sharing their life experience, love for assisting the customer and their job.
I was delighted to learn that the same two movers would be shipping my items. When they arrived, they had the same smiles on their face. And they remembered who I was. They worked in the same manner as they had done picking up my belongings. They placed and set up my heavy items and even help me hook up some electronics. When the move was all done, they looked satisfied that they had delivered the service that holds the company in good standing.
Finally, I would recommend any person to the company. Kevin Shaw, Izzik Malka and Stanley Alexandre, were all outstanding employees who assisted me with my move and I want to thank each and everyone of them for the outstanding job they have done for me....
