Watch Out!
My mother, who has some memory problems, bought one of these vacations a couple of years ago for just under $1000. I wasn't aware of the purchase until quite a few months later, but someone (Ellen Baker) was able to go online and book my mother's vacation and go on her cruise!! I was told there was nothing we could do about it!!!

Bad News - Good News
This company is bad news. I was lied to many times. Promises were made and not kept. Finally after about 10 months of them having my money, I filed a dispute with Citi Bank (my credit card) and sent them all my documentation (phone calls, dates, promises, etc.). I was thrilled and surprised when I got all my money back earlier this month. Give it a try and maybe you will have good news, too.

What a rip off!
In September of 2010 I purchased a dream week vacation and a mini cruise, 2 day hotel stay and transportation to and from the cruise for 868.00. Last year I looked at dream weeks but did not use. This year in June of 2012 I tried to book the cruise. When I called the number to reserve, the message told me to send reservations questions to an email as they are in transition. I did this, it went through, never got a reply. Since then I have called every number on my original paperwork and send emails to every email I ever had. All the numbers have been disconnected and all emails are not send able. The last contact with a real person or email was in early June 2012.
I think this company went out of business and left everyone they owed high and dry. I don't know how to get a refund from a company that has disappeared.
I originally purchased this for a vacation for me and my husband who is now retired military and returning from Afghanistan. I expect I will be getting a bankruptcy notice.

Good News!
We got our money back by putting in a dispute with our card company, "Chase". Didn't think it could be done after a 7 month time but Chase seemed happy to do it. Hope this helps others that got taken by this company.

May be a Scam - They still have time to redeem themselves
We are trying to book our dream week in Orlando. I contacted them in June to provide our choices and the rep Angela had told me they would get back to me right away to provide the confirmation and so that I could make final payment. We are trying to go late Sept early Oct. Since then I have called each week to speak to her and to no avail. The reps keep telling me that they are still working on it and will let me know, or they will send it to me tomorrow, or it will be 30 days, every rep has a different answer. Now no one is answering the phone and I'm not getting any responses from e-mails. I'm going to give it another week and then will complain with BBB and possibly some of the tourism groups in FL. If nothing resolved by Beg. of Sept. I will also look into litigation for the deposit I've already paid. I will also have to book something very reasonable down there myself soon as my parents have already made their reservations, with someone else thankfully... The phone number I have is 877-497-7795 and the e-mail is clientcare@myparadisett.com. This was the supervisor that I spoke to who will not call or e-mail back: Angela Khalil, Customer Service Manager & Reservation Specialist, Paradise Dream Tours LLC, Reservations: 1-877-497-7795 (9am-5pm Mon-Fri), Fax: 954-362-2100, Email: clientcare@myparadisett.com, www.myparadisett.com

Unhappy
Bought a "deal" in Feb 2011 for $998 for a 7 night vacation with dreamvacationweek, a 5 day 4 night cruise with Royal Carribean, and a 2 night weekend. Earlier in the year I was able to log on and look at possible places to go. Tonight, when trying to log on to the dream week site it said my certificate number had been redeemed. I was unable to reach the reservation number for Paradise and finally contacted Dream Week. They confirmed that it said my number had been redeemed. I have tried 3 different numbers for Paradis, and tried to send a message through the contact number on their web page. It would not let the message go through, saying the page may have been removed. The phone numbers say they are invalid numbers. The BBB has 67 complaints against this company. My next step is to file a claim. After reading problems others have had, if I was able to book through them I would not trust them to actually book the trip! I guess I should have remembered that "if it seems too good to be true...", it probably is!

BE AWARE
I bought a package from Paradise Tours in Dec 2010 for 2 vacations. The vacation we took last year was great. Two days in Fort Lauderdale, 3 days in the Bahamas. Sales person: Gigi. When I called 90 days in advance this year for the 7 days in Orlando, I gave them 4 choices. Was assured they had my request and I would receive confirmation within 30 days prior to the departure date confirming the specific accommodations. Before making airline reservations, I called back 3 times to make sure everything was in order. Thirty days prior to departure, no confirmation and would not return my calls.
Emailed Angela (Customer Service Manager) directly. Received email that someone would be calling me within 3 days - didn't happen. Emailed again -Angela replied that I would be notified within 1 day - didn't happen. I got scammed!

We are concerned!!!
We have been told many times that a confirmation email in regard to our trip would be coming. We are one week away from our vacation, we have bought plane tickets, and still no confirmation for our hotel. The company will not email us, not even in regard to information. I spoke with "Rafael" and asked for an email confirming our conversation and have not received a response. This company may not be legitimate. They are not registered with the BBB. We are very concerned that we may not have a place to stay. Communication on thier end is very disappointing.

How can these people still be doing business?
Is there any way we can all get together as a group and do something about this company and the fraudulent way they are doing business? All I want now is a refund. They have had the use of our money long enough. We are sick of the fight and the lies!

We had family booked on the same cruise, thankfully the cruise line (NCL) was able to find us a stateroom which we paid for directly with the cruise line at least we got to go. still wating for a refund 5 mo later. Oh did I mention they booked us on another cruise line and billed us for that too. DO NOT USE THIS CO.

Scam/Fraudulent Company!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, do business with them.
Total Scam! Of course, everyone probably is aware of this now that they have gone out of business. The phone number doesn't work and they will not answer your emails. The only way to get your money back is to file a claim and since it is an LLC, you will have to "pierce the veil", i.e. show intentional misconduct/fraud. You will have to file claims against the "Principals" of the Company. This should not be hard to accomplish, since they intentionally did not perform the promised services for many customers and did not actually make refunds to customers that were promised for nonperformance/fraud. My heart goes out to all of you that were scammed by this Company. If this review, helps one person/family forego the stress/undue hardships caused by this company, it was worth my time.

very unhappy
I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect. I was told I would have the itinerary1 month before my cruise. I have been emailing and calling and they keep putting me off. I was told today to"relax, when I get your schedule I will send it to you", I wad also told to " change my attitude, as soon as my trip is booked I will be notified." Are u kidding me. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told " I am as high as you can get besides god." Needless to say I am locked into this deal but when HELL freezes over I might do business with this company again.

Very disappointed - asking for a refund
My husband received a call from you for a trip package with your company which we purchased. We are going to Florida at the end of June and called several weeks ago to reserve the condo (which was part of the package we received with you). We have been told that we had to wait until we were 6 weeks out before reserving the condo. We have called several times this week (we are 4 weeks out from our visit) and have been put off. Both my husband and I have been treated very disrespectfully by your staff member Vanessa, who has told us we need to be patient, yelled at us and called me lady! She even went as far as to hang up on me this afternoon. You have incredibly poor customer service and we are asking for a refund at this time. If a refund is not given to us within the next 24 hour we will be cancelling the transaction on our credit card.

THIS IS AN AMAZING COMPANY
They took care of me from beginning to end I will def use them
Again. I saved over 2,000 dollars. If you do a little research you will realize Thier promotions have no timeshare or gimmicks. It looks like Thier definitely busy as I found out they travel about 15,000 to 25,000 people a month. The promotions are great. Thanks Paradise I look forward to using the other half of my trip

Cheating Clients
In March of this year I was contacted by Paradise Dreams Tours. They offered to "save" a resort week that I hadn't used and would expire. Only pay a small amount and they would save the week, plus give us a 2 night hotel stay in Ft. Lauderdale with a 3 night cruise out of Miami.
When we arrived at the hotel, it hadn't been paid for - thus, I paid for it.
The transportation to Miami was supposed to be $100 both ways for 2 people, BUT it was $150. The cruise did take place as promised. It was fine. They did refund the hotel costs, but not the transportation overcharge.
Since our return, I've been trying to schedule the resort week. I've worked with Vanessa (very nice) and Angela (nice, BUT DIDN'T FOLLOW THROUGH WITH GETTING MY RESORT WEEK. Now she is not responding to my phone calls or emails. If I don't get this resolved, I'll take it to small claims court.
