System Pavers is Dishonest and Overpriced
PREPARE TO BE OVERCHARGED AND LIED TO!!! We had System Pavers come to our house and give us a bid on a back yard job. They quoted $42k to do everything we wanted (60 feet wide by 6 foot retaining wall, 700 sq feet paving and 4x4 fire pit), and we were happy and signed the contract. After waiting for the appropriate permits to be completed, the salesman came out 3 weeks later and told us the city would not let us build the 6 foot retaining wall we wanted because of the slope of our yard and the existing flower bed we had in place there. He said we could instead build 4 foot wall, and the city would allow it. That would basically reconfigure the large flower bed we already had. The cost differerence would only be $2K. I told him I needed to think about it. After doing more research, the cost reduction alone in concrete materials from a 6 foot wall to a 4 foot wall was about $6K, not including the massive reduction in dirt removal they would have saved. In addition, I found out the 4 foot wall was the maximum height that could be built WITHOUT a permit. So they would have saved money there too by not having to pay for a permit, which was initially included in my cost ($500 or so). I'm not even sure if SP talked to the city at all, or if they realized that they underbid the job initially and didn't want to come by with an increased cost. The biggest kicker?...I've had 3 masonry contractors come out and the quote for the same scope of work is anywhere from $20 to $25K, and all three said doing a 6 foot retaining wall is no problem and there are standard plans that can be brought to the city to get a permit over the counter. DO NOT hire System Pavers, they are way overpriced and dishonest. They lied to us just to get the work done quickly, and at double what we should have paid. Thankfully we did not go through with the job and fired them. You can get honest, high quality work if you simply talk to a few different concrete and masonry companies, and at a much lower price since you aren't paying for some pushy salesman's salary.

Would NOT recommend!!! Estimated 10 day job took 6 weeks and two crews. The word "level" and "plumb" don't exist in their world. Our planter was 4 inches off level over 30 feet!! Patio water test ran toward the house, not away. They fixed it twice before it actually worked correctly! They used rubber coated metal mallets to "tap" in the pavers, but the coating had worn though to the metal so most of our new pavers had chips in them, which we had to identify, individually, and force them to replace. The crew did work hard but took several late afternoon beer breaks and stashed their empties in my kids plastic playhouse!!! Are you kidding me?!?! Read the fine print!! They are not responsible for any breaks in irrigation lines. I have yet to find a sprinkler line NOT damaged, which has caused me to have to dig up pavers to repair!!! In fairness, this experience was five years ago, but I am still dealing with issues caused by this installation. Run from these guys!!!

Excellent customer service! Completed our hardscape precisely on time with excellent workmanship. It stands behind its work....Not only the installation comes with 25 year warranty, everyone at the System Pavers understands our needs and treated us with courtesy. Everyone including working crew communicated well and every detail gotten taken care of. The onsite crew was empowered to make corrections on spot as necessary and easy to communicate with. The job this size will have at least few unforeseen problems but System Pavers never hesitated a second to provide corrections and solutions. I am very much satisfied with its high standard of its service. The company exceeded our expectations, and would definitely recommend its services. I have a comfort of knowing the company standing behind its work and materials they had provided for years to come. Surprisingly, its price was very competitive with other contractors.

System Pavers was great! They did our driveway last year and everyone in the neighborhood has been admiring ever since. We had them come out and install their synthetic turf this spring. Both installations were easy and painless and everyone was a delight to deal with. I would recommend this company to anyone!

It started with our driveway and continued through the from patio and side and backyard patio. They have been here 4 times and I am completely satisfied with their work and work ethic. They have surpassed my expectations and would recommend them to anyone who wants high quality and quick completions System Pavers to the rescue.
They work with you too make sure the job is to your satisfaction.

Called Systems Paving to get a quote. The salesperson was way too aggressive and he kept pressuring us to sign a contract. It felt like we were dealing with a used car salesman. Gave us a crazy high estimate and kept emphasizing how great their company is. From their propaganda advertising, I did not see much difference from other paving companies. When asked about another competitor, the salesperson acted like he did not know anything about them...and then he produced documents comparing them to their company at the end. High pressure tactics are definitely not attractive and does not convey trustworthiness to consumers. I decided to stay away from this company.

Although I Love the patio there were many obstacles of destruction of my property and it has taken over a year to resolve. Also they go through GE and you will be paying about $3000.00 more than the signed contract. They do not respond quickly to phone calls or handle complaints in a timely matter. They promise but do not deliver
