We've been using the Deck Doctor for many years to restore and rebuild our wood deck, and have never been disappointed. Fred consistently does an excellent job, quickly and efficiently, and at a fair price. He's a pleasure to deal with -- very professional and personable. He just refinished our deck a week ago and it looks great. I'd recommend him without reservation.

We interviewed three contractors to build a deck for our swim spa. Fred, the Deck Doctor, won the business hands down because his price was fair, he had the best ideas and most creative vision for the project by far and he was sincere and passionate about his work. It was one of those rare situations where you just knew in your gut that he was "the guy" for the job. Turns out our instincts were right on because the end result is nothing short of spectacular. The deck looks like it was completely planned, designed and custom-built to fit our backyard. It complements the existing hardscape and has several unique design elements that make it look like a much more expensive project. Thanks again Fred, Manuel and Oscar!

Fred, from Deck Doctor did a fantastic job on our deck. He helped us decide what materials were best for us, designed our deck and was an master craftsman. He did everything he said he would do and more! Fred is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. Not only did he build our deck, but creatively updated some old fencing near the deck, making it look like it was designed to go with the deck without having to go to the expense of building new fencing. Additionally, he coordinated with the other tradesmen working in the yard and made sure everything was done right. He is trustworthy, creative and completed the project on time. We could not be happier and we would highly recommend the Deck Doctor!

My wife and I just bought our first home. During the inspection it was revealed that the two balconies, 15 and 25 feet off the ground, needed to be rebuilt. We loved the house but were absolutely terified by the thought of getting involved with such a huge project. We had numerous bids on the job, but it was clear to us that Fred was our man. From the minute we met, he began to win our trust. He was extremely knowledgeable and seemed to be very trustworthy and honest. His price, which as a first time home buyer was very important to us, was very reasonable, and there were no tricks in upping his price during the job. We asked him to bring us a copy of his Driver's license, and he not only did that but brought his passport as well. The job was huge, and he did an excellent job. We feel really blessed to have met Fred and we are really enjoying our decks, which by the way, have a 10 year workmanship warranty on it...great piece of mind! Oh, also, he showed up every day when he said he would, he took exactly how long he said it would to finish the product, and on top of everything, he is a really nice person to have around the house. Hope this review helps and we wish you will have as great of an experience as we did!

Hired Deck Doctor to construct a deck and benches around a new spa. Decided on using Brazilian Hardwood known as Ipe. While difficult to work with, Ipe is long lasting and will not splinter or rot. It's perfect around a hot tub or where moisture or a marine layer is present. The Deck Doctor (Fred Carrion) was creative in design and considers his work more art than construction. Following my satisfaction with the spa environment, I decided to have the Deck Doctor rebuild my planters and deck areas with the Ipe wood.
