My experience with Impac Mortgage
I was lucking to be introduced to Impac Mortgage when I was trying to do a "HARP" refinance. My loan officer was Christian Dahlin and his processor Tiffany Anastopoulos. They made the process smooth and keep their word on everything including the closing date. I am in the Real Eatate business so I know how things work, and beleive me, most of the time it doess't always happen like this one did. They get my recommendation.

Great Experience with Short Sale Process - w/Michael Gronwall
I have been working with Michael Gronwall in the purchase of a short sale property and he has been 100% "on point" throughout the process thus far. He has been very responsive and timely regarding phone calls and document requests. I can't thank him enough for all of his efforts and hard work thus far. We hope to close within the next 30-45 days and I will surely provide an update when we reach that milestone. I have worked with other lending professionals in the past and Michael has by far been the best and most professional. I forgot to mention that I am purchasing a "short sale" property, which can be lengthy and arduous. Michael has explained the entire process from start to finish and answered any follow-up questions I asked of him. It's not too often we get an opportunity to thank those who truly make a difference in our lives and this is one time that I will do so. I look forward to closing and providing an update. Thanks

Our Refi with Impac
My wife and I struggled through several attempts to adjust our mortgage with one outfit - who never intended to help us. Another, the same, always another form, document or item we had just sent them. Luke Saltarelli and Impac Mortgage was diligent, and followed through with what they said they would do and that was to get us the 10 year, 3% mortgage we asked for. Thankyou.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Christian at Impac Mortgage. He was professional, supportive and quick and overall I would recommend him and the entire Impac team to handle refi needs.

Lies and misleading company buyers beware!
I received emails for a loan modification from IMPAC who owns the mortgage on my home (with rental property in back). It was a tough time for me going through divorce, two children(my custody) one with special needs. I was relieved. I have great credit score and never late in 15 YEARS! So I sent my documents and got approved. I am told I have to pay my fee first, which turns out to be ILLEGAL in the State of California. My approval letter and instructions seemed fine so I agreed. I was instructed in the documents not to pay the next two mortgage payments while the documents are processed. 12/18/2012 The documents arrived and they want $6,000 in escrow account for taxes and home ins. Both of which I paid. I try to work it out with them. They went on vacation. They agree to cancel but have not refunded my money yet 3/1/2013. They then said I was late on my mortgage payment by 18 days and my credit is shot. Now I am selling my home and I won't be able to buy a new one because of them. BE WARNED!

We had an excellent experience with Impac Mortgage and Luke Saltarelli.
We had tried to re-finance in the past, contacting many different companies, with no success until we came to Impac Mortgage. They were very helpful through every step of the process. We were lucky to be able to work with Luke Saltarelli, who not only streamlined the process, but made it very easy every step of the way. We are very appreciative for everything!

Thank You IMPAC and CHRISTIAN DAHLIN!
As new homeowners, my husband and I were nervous, unknowledgeable about the industry and apprehensive about working with the wrong company. After speaking with Christian one time, I was put at ease and made to feel like we had a friend helping us through every step of this new, and scary process.
Christian and Tiffany were very prompt in contacting us at every turn and were very easy to get a hold of when we had questions or concerns. Christian was very open and was a great communicator when it came to answering our several questions and never made us feel inferior.
My husband and I highly recommend using IMPAC Mortgage and more specifically Christian and Tiffany as they were a true pleasure to work with and was very forthcoming with information and were great guides throughout or first home purchase.

KUDOS TO CHRISTIAN DAHLIN!
I can only give my highest recommendation to Christian Dahlin for the work he did for me in refinancing my home. I've done many loans over the years, but never with anyone more knowledgeable, honest or dependable. I think we closed the loan in three weeks; start to finish. There were some potential issues to be worked through that could have been problematic, but Christian thought things through thoroughly, developed a strategy and executed it to perfection. He kept me up-dated throughout the process, returned all my calls promptly, and did exactly what he said he would do. I can't imagine working with some one better, or getting better results!

Great company-Highly Recommend Christian Dahlin
I highly recommend Christian Dahlin at Impac Mortgage to anyone seeking a home loan. Christian was my loan officer when I refinanced in 2011 when he worked for another company. Because he provide such excellent service in every respect, I asked him to work with me when I decided to refinance a second time. Christian explains everything clearly, including a very accurate account of all the expenses and charges. He told me what to expect and how things would work at each stage in the loan process. He contacted me almost daily to keep me informed and to answer my questions. Anytime something new happened, he would call immediately. He seems to never take time off. He would call on the weekend if I left him a message on Friday. I was also impressed with his diligence in getting me the best deal, and with his technical expertise. He quickly developed solutions when unexpected issues arose. Most importantly, Christian is extraordinarily honest. Everything he told me was true; no hidden fees, no unexpected delays or charges. You can absolutely trust him. I recommend him to close friends.

Run run run! I can't understand how this company is still in business. Nobody returns your calls they make promises which are all lies. It's now 3 months later and they've been giving me the run around, its like my worst nightmare.. My family and I are almost homeless. Take my advice stay away, the deal might sound good, that's just the way they get you, once that rope is around your neck, your trapped. I had the worst experience dealing with this company, I'm now homeless, stressed and depressed.

We were in the market looking to buy a home. We had our lender all ready to go and found the house we wanted but was told the only way the deal would be accepted was if we used Impac. We had a 30 day escrow and now 45 days later we are 2 weeks out; so we are told by the professionals at Impac. I believe we are nowhere close and have absolutely no contact or info and are being strung along. Now we have to go stay with a friend and hope and I mean really hope that impact does the job they say they are doing. I would recommend to anyone and everyone that if Impac in anyway comes into contact with them turn and run as fast as you can from them! We get no phone calls from the loan department or their supervisors. Impac has put my family in the absolute worse position and there seems to be no concern or tenacity to get this loan completed. Plus Impac is incredibly, incredibly rude! Impac makes you feel like you are a problem instead of a client.

I have had the worst experience with this company regarding my loan modification. Without a doubt questionable tactics were used to offer services that have yet to be fulfilled and by all determining factors qualifies as a legitimate scam. I was solicited for a modification from this company. They requested a fee and told me I was able to skip the following two mortage payments as compensation for paying the processing fees. In research the company was listed as one of the reputable companies to work with. This company owns my loan (does not service my loan) so I felt this was a fair business deal. Following up nearly two months later after receiving late payment notices and potential foreclosure threats I was told they do not have the authority to modify my loan by my servicing company. Working to resolve this matter it took a month of smoke and mirrors before this company agreed to refund my fees but then would not modify my loan. Since I agreed to the refund they have stopped all contact and I still have not received a modification or seen the refund agreed.
