What a cheesy ripoff
Should have been simple-3 day event, bring your mailer in to get one of the GUARANTEED Prizes. So my mom goes in, and of course, they have no prizes left, not even the nothing prizes. So they are ready to write her off. My mom tells them they say on the mailer GUARANTEED. They then need two people to pore over this mailer looking for a non existent disclaimer about "while supplies last". They offer her a lottery ticket, cuz she could win $800.00!!, Right. They then tell her she can have a free oil change, go to get a voucher, come back, give it to her, and again try to hustle her out the door. The voucher is for a car wash, and a mandatory 31 point inspection, that she is obligated to do before the car wash. She points out that this is not for an oil change, which they sheepishly agree about, but it IS for a CAR WASH. Now, not only does she have her own HONEST mechanic, but I firmly believe they will certainly find something wrong, to charge her for. It is the little courtesies and business integrity that bring people in, and they then tell their friends and family about it. This lack of ownership on something this basic speaks volumes about what to expect if there were a bigger problem. She only received anything at all because she stood her ground and would not allow them to shuffle her out. Neither one of us will be replacing our toyotas next year at this location, again, simply because something so small was too much for them to step up and own. Shame on you.
