Warrior golf

I receive emails and postcards for free offers. All of the test ones say they are free with testing and they try to sell you clubs. The holiday bag clearly says shipping applies. When I called they told me upfront the shipping was 19.99. The package was clearly worth every penny and more. Are their sell tactics as sweet as department stores? Exclusive as golf clubs? No. But, the price of the equipment is worth it to me. If you cant deal with coupons, don't clip them. Pay full price. If you want something for free, dont call someone a scam artist cause they make you jump through hoops to get the free item. They are legit. Test programs arent for everyone.

I called to inquire about the product they offer on Dec 16th. I was told that there was a 45 day trial period where I could test out the clubs. I told the salesman Tim Slappy that I would call back later to place the order because I live in Colorado and there would be no way I could test the clubs in the next 45 days. He said don't worry about it just give me a call and I will take care of it. I was a little worried (so I should have hung up the phone right then) so I told him I that I most likely would not have a chance to go golfing and test the clubs till at least March. He told me that they have a lot of customers in my situation and they extend the trial period for customers who live in cold weather places all the time. Just give him a call. I got the clubs on Dec 28th with a gift package of free stuff. One of the items in the gift package was a Stay-Cool Performance Golf shirt which didn't show up with the other stuff. I called Warrior to ask them what was going on with the shirt and why it wasn't in the package. They said that there was a backorder and that they were getting more in. I was OK with that so I waited. I called back again on Jan14th to see if they got the shirts in. They still did not have them in. I finally got the shirt on Feb 8th. and it was a 100% cotton polo shirt. I was thinking how is a 100% cotton polo shirt a "Stay Cool Performance Shirt"? That was very misleading to me. On to the main reason for this email. Well, we had a nice weekend in February so I went out and tried the clubs out. They were the worst clubs. I was hitting the ball at least 15-20 yards better every time with my Taylor Made clubs. The next Monday Feb 14 I called to try and get a hold of Tim to get a return set up. I was told that he was not in the office and to call back another day. On Feb 16 I called again and was told he was not in the office. I called again on Feb 23rd and again I was told that he was not in the office. I called again on Feb 24th and was told that he was not in the office so I asked if there was someone who could help me set up a return. I got transfered to Melissa. She was not a friendly person at all. I told her my situation and that Tim told me to call if I needed to return the clubs and they would take care of me. She told me that I had 45 days to return the clubs and that I had passed the time and that they would not give me an RMA to return the clubs. I told her that I lived in Colorado and Tim said that I would get an extension on the 45 days because it was the middle of winter and you just don't know if you can play golf in the middle of winter. I told her that I wanted to give the clubs a fair shot before I returned them. She said there is nothing I can do to give you an RMA but if you would like to try these irons out I could send them to you for something like $390.00 they are regular $1000.00 clubs and everyone I have talked to about these clubs love them. I said that I was not interested in these clubs that I wanted an RMA so I could return the clubs that Tim sold me and that he said I would have an extension because I lived in Colorado. She then said that she would not give me an RMA because I did not say a key phrase that Tim would tell you if he authorized a return like that. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said that she was the supervisor. I said then let me speak to your manager. She told me that she would give the manager the message and that the manager Valerie Mazer would call me within a week. It has been past a week so I called and asked to speak to Valerie and was told that she was not in the office to call back next week. I called again to try and talk to Tim and the first time they hung up on me and the 2nd time they said that he was not in the office either. (Maybe I should get a job there because you are never required to be in the office). So now after calling so many times I have gotten nowhere. I am posting this because I think everyone should be aware to stay away from Warrior Custom Golf. They are the worst company for customer service and they all have bad attitudes. PLEASE STAY AWAY

I received a postcard from Warrior Custom Golf advising me that they have a Christmas Gift Valued at $350 for me ABSOLUTELY FREE!* I read the postcard over and over and even had my wife read it. No where did it say that I had to pay shipping and handling, so I called and was then advised that I had to pay for shipping and handling. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was given the run around that they were all helping other customers. This is FALSE ADVERTISING and a stop should be put to it. If a customer has to pay any shipping and handling it should say so on the postcard o=r advertisement. If it does not, they should honor it and send it out for free to show that they are a company that can be trusted. I highly recommend that you do not do business with CUSTOM WARRIOR GOLF as the are not true in their advertising.

This company will send you e-mail after e-mail to have free stuff. But when you call you can get the free stuff unless you try there clubs that you have to pay 135 for each wood and they send you 3 woods. Save you money and time and go to a real golf store.

I just received an unsolicited call from Warrior Golf(Chris) concerning a wedge promotion that they are offering. After advising I already had a nice set of wedges and was not interested, I thanked the gentleman for calling and wished him a good night.

The next comments I heard...in a very condescending tone was: "how about I call you again tomorrow night at the same time to see how you like it".... Obviously the gentleman either thought he was on mute or I hung up. I was then hung up on after requesting to speak to a manager at Warrior golf.

I have since made two calls to the 1-800 number on the warrior golf web site in an attempt to speak to a manager. Both times the gentlemen took my name and number and advised that a manager would call back within 10 mins....I have yet to receive the call.

Warrior Golf has a very interesting approach to selling golf clubs and customer service. Given this experience I can assure you that I will never buy anything from this company. It is clear to see why Warrior Custom Golf has a BBB rating of F.

This company is a scammer. Their m.o. is bait and switch and requires the customer to place a credit card number (which they say will not be charged for 45 days) which gets charged upon shipping for things that are supposed to be tested by the customer. Please save your money and your time and do not do business with this company. I rated it one star because I couldn't get to zero.
