Quick and got a very good price
They paid me over twice what a local place was willing to - $800 vs. $310. Everything went quickly with all the delays being on my end. I would use them again. I was leery of doing business like this on the internet. The website was different than the
domain the emails came from, which was different from what they wanted the title to read, which was again different from the company that actually picked up the car. When I expressed my concern that the bank they used had no branches in my state and did not
do over-the-phone fund verification, they offered to pay cash. My only gripe is that the company that picked up the car showed up very late.

"Waste of time"
I contacted this company on Mon. Feb. 25, 2013 out of Texas. I chose the text option because it was more convenient for me. The rep I chatted back and forth with was very helpful, I had issues with the title explained it and they said no problem that they would have a representative call me soon. A hour and a half later, no call, however a rep by the name of Gary shows up. Ok, fine. Via chat I was offered $500 after being completely honest about all the issues with the car but once here I was offered $300. I was fine with that wasn't looking to get a lot out of the car just wanted it gone. Then issues start arising with the title. All of which were addressed with the rep I chatted with previously that said it would be no problem after I confirmed with them 3x. So Gary, proceeds to call his manager several times to come up with a plan. His manager tells him to offer me 150 up front and 150 after they received the title, but I was told I needed to give them a power of attorney over the vehicle in order to go through with this arrangement. Also, if they didn't receive the title, I would not get the other half bc they would need it to apply for the title themselves to cover the costs. I expressed my disinterest in giving them any sort of power of attorney even if it was "just for the vehicle" and asked them if we could just wait until I have the title in hand so it would be easier for both parties and I wouldn't have to give them a POA. Gary, then proceeds to call his manager to ask her. Plain as day, I hear her ask him "how far of a drive is it?" He replies, "about an hour." Her response, "absolutely not, you are not driving back out there for that, it is a complete waste of time. You are not leaving there without the car TODAY." After they hung up, I asked for my personal information back and told him I would be pursuing other options, and I didn't appreciate his managers poor attitude and rude comments. He also refused to give me back the personal information he wrote down including the vin number and my drivers license info, which I didn't understand what he would need that for after I told him I was not going to sell my car to them. He then leaves and returns about 5 min. Later saying his other supervisor apologizes and is willing to give me 300 now and 300 after they receive the title for a total of 600. I explained, it wasn't about the money, had they been more geared toward providing satisfactory customer service it would not have been an issue and since I was a "waste of their time" I would be taking my business else where. Never have I heard of giving a POA to a complete stranger in the first place nor would I ever do that, and I felt as if I was getting ripped off anyway if they were willing to give me 600 after their initial offer of 300 to correct the customer service issue. No thanks. Also, did not understand why they couldn't wait for me to have the title in my hands if they have to drive out again to pick up the vehicle? Doesn't make sense to me, never will I give this customer my business nor will I ever recommend them to anyone that doesn't have the title in hand. Complete waste of MY time. In their defense, the reps they send to the house are very courteous, it's management that seems to have the customer service issues.

AWFUL!!!

Disappointed!
Submitted a newer vehicle and went through the entire interview process just to be told they did not service my location after they wanted to know how much I wanted. I quoted NADA and KBB book value to them and suddently the agent rechecked and determined they did not service my location which is Albuquerque, NM. Something not right with this scenario.

I sold my son's car to this company. The price negotiation process was straightforward. The support staff at the company was competent and addressed all my concerns adequately. Fast and Efficient
I might not have made as much money if I sold my car privately, but I was willing to forgo that experience in order to gain a little peace of mind.
When I entered the website I noticed a CHAT function that allowed me to instantly get a quote. The operator, Brian, answered within 15 seconds. Within 1 hour, Geoff was at my door to inspect my vehicle and cut me a check. It was that easy.

Easy to do business with.
Had 2001 PT cruiser sitting around my garage for 2 years. Decided it was time to get rid of it. Went online to webuycars.com and did an online chat with Brian. We had everything done in about 10 minutes. Very helpful and patient and went over everything to make sure there were no mistakes.
The company rep ( Alen ) showed up on time, was super friendly and everything was taken care of quick and easy.

Fast and easy way to sell your car
Jason gets 5 stars! Person on the phone gave a price range and Jason came out in a couple hours. We settled on a higher price than dealer trade in and close to blue book trade in. The process was fast and paperwork minimal. Their check cleared instantly.

be careful
although they were very easy and fast they did not inform me that i was donating the car and only offered me $150 did not know any better but the ppl who picked up my car said i should have gotten $500 for the car the paper work said i was giving the rest to charity. feel they should have given me the option if i wanted to donate the $350 to a charity or not, very deceiving

I just had my first experience with webuycars.com and I did not know it would be that easy. I spoke to someone at 5pm and Clyde was here by 10am the next day. He was very friendly and explained everything in a way I could understand. Within two hours I had a check in my hand for a wonderful amount. I will definitely use them again if need be. Transaction conducted as advertised.
I was scared about trying to sell my car in the usual ways i.e. personal ads on the internet, etc. However, when i found this company's ad via a Google search and saw they were members of the Better Business Bureau, insured and bonded, i was willing to take a chance. They totally lived up to their ad. I started with their on-line chat which led me to feel that setting up appointment with their appraiser was worthwhile. I had an appointment in less than two hours on the same day i contacted them. The appraiser, Geoff, was courteous and made no promises his company could not keep. We went through a couple of rounds of negotiations and finally came to an agreement. Based on the soft market for used cars, i am satisfied with the final purchase price.

Fast, friendly service
They came out to me fairly quickly, despite rush hour traffic, assessed the car quickly, and got rid of my clunker. 199k miles on my poor Echo. Mark was very helpful, answering all of my wife's and my questions, and dulled the blow of a painful loss. I'd been through a couple of rough jobs and a couple near-death experiences in that car, so I feel like I lost a family member.
