SCAM!!!
I noticed I was getting charged on my phone bill $106 extra a month! I called and they gave me their number to contact. They said they had me saying that I agreed, I NEVER did!!! They also have not given me the recording that has me on it. They would not refund me. I asked for a supervisor and she said she was one and she would not transfer me. I told her that their company is shady! If this company calls don't say anything! They will use your voice to say that you've given permission! Luckily my phone company refunded me all the charges!

Buyer beware!!!! By telling them your name, you are "authorizing" them to charge you
I had the pleasure of being called every day for two weeks before I decided to give eBridge a try on their promise of "one month free internet advertising."
"Monique Silva" spoke at great length about how eBridge would optimize our presence on various search engines, and reassured me that if I was displeased with the service or results after one month, I could cancel my subscription immediately without being charged before the end of my "free month."
After a month with zero - mind you, absolutely none - increase in business or even web traffic from our "optimized presence" on the web, I called and cancelled the service.
Hey... if it's not working or having ANY IMPACT on your business whatsoever, why would you pay for it. Right?
The cancellation process with eBridge was simple enough. I called and they tried to sell me on yet another month of free service, at which point I started to suspect that there would be hidden costs. So I pushed for a full cancellation, which they granted.
Only one month later, we opened our ISP bill to find a charge of $99 from eBridge! How did this happen, when I had clearly requested AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION via a "recorded phone call" with one of their representatives over the phone for a cancellation of their services. They fully ignored my request, and charged us for a service that I a) never benefitted from in the slightest, and b) told them to cease within the 1st month.
Our phone company removed the charge, but I would issue a caution to anyone - like myself, I'll admit - who wants to use their "free service" to see if such an expense (regular monthly payments of $99, in their case) is justified.
Weeks later, I was told about a very rude phone call that my colleague received, from someone at eBridge who was asked to stop calling us. The representative then informed my colleague that he would "keep calling until he got the information he needed" and that "whatever we asked him to do, he'd keep calling and calling."
This is NOT the calling card of an ethical, professionally-run business. The best bet when you see eBridge on your call display, is to ignore it completely.

SCAM
I just got off the phone with a David Mensosa. He was trying to talk me into a free month of advertising on Goggle, Facebook, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines. He tells me it's free but if i want to continue the service i would have to pay like 49.99 for the next month. I say okay and then he tells me at the end of our conversation that he just needs me to pay a processing fee of 4.99 with a credit card to get started! And then I tell him that obviously the service is NOT Free if he's charging me 4.99! And again he repeats that it's free for the first month and if i want to continue then it will be 49.99 for the next month. Then I inform him again that 4.99 is not free. Then I tell him to just bill me the 4.99 instead and he says he can't. He says the only way to process all this is to do it with a credit card over the phone. I tell him straight out that I'm not going to give my credit card info to some stranger over the phone just because he says who he is. I tell him that it could be a scam and how he could all be lying. So then this genius tells me to look them up online and behold, I find this website telling me it's all a scam! I tell him this and he hangs up! hahaha

scam
I received 10 phone calls a day for the last 4 days, finally I answered and listened. I didn't research any reviews 1st, big mistake. They had me pay a 4.95 charge for something and then said I would get emails. So I come home and emails are there. I click on the link to sign into my account and it is a bad link. Click on everything in the email that has a link associated with it and they are all bad links. Call the customer service number (before 7pm PST) and it is a recording, we are closed until Jan. 3 2012 for the holidays. So everything sends you to this phone number but then the phone is an empty message with no way to get through.

Ebridge Advertising is a COMPLETE SCAMMMMM!
I was contacted on January 5, 2012 about receiving a FREE yahoo listing. So, I go through all of this callers, Donna Jones, questions and then, in the end she hits me with the zinger about charging through the phone bill $99.95 a month. I emphatically stated that I did not want my phone bill charged. She goes on to say oh! we contact you via phone and email before the 30-day trial period is over to make sure that you want to continue with the service. She stated that they would go over progress reports with me to see all my increase in business. I never received a phone call and never received any business, so I have no idea what they are selling anyways. Also, she stated they would send a reminder email before the end of the trial period - nope! I am still awaiting my phone call to ask me if I want to pay for this ridiculous service or non-service they provide. I contacted their customer service which is no customer service. They do not have bosses and really do not care what you have to say because they are going to take your money anyways. YOUR NOT GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! So, CANCEL, RUN AWAY NOW!!!! They are SCAM ARTISTS! Phone number 1-866-671-4767. I spoke with Monira #03110 in Customer Service - She has no boss and Jorge Zepeea in Audio Department - He has no boss either! He couldn't answer me who signs his paychecks. I guess these people work for free, yeah right! Will be reported to BBB as quickly as I can. Have filed reports with my phone company for their fradulent practices.

Get an 800 and get ripped off!
EBridge Advertising is what gives legitimate marketing companies a bad name. I was repeatedly told that there would be no charge, "free thirty day"! If you say the word 'yes' on the phone call to confirm that I am the President of the company or to confirm I have control of my website, they apparently use that as an authorization to charge your phone bill. I said no less than three times on the phone , "yes, but in answering I am NOT giving you permission to charge anything on my phone bill." The telemarketer said "that's what I said, no nothing will be charged to you" I asked do I have to call to cancel and they said "no, it will cost nothing." Well, guess what. They created an account for me anyway, your first month of service is completely free they then conveniently billed through my business telephone company $49.95. I called them to cancel it but was told they could not do that and that they would not remove the charge! I called my phone company and they have blocked them from charging and I can't wait until they try to put me into collections as I did not want this service and my webmaster told me it was just one of many scam companies out there and the Ebridge has a horrible reputation. They are not ethical, and provide no search engine company placement nor provide any website value; rather, they are in it to make money off of duping and lying to people. I called their office and asked for the address and President's name and was told their address is 16133 Ventura Blvd., Encino Ca. 91436 and talked to a Harry Gonzordz if that was his name and that he was an Senior Account Manager I asked how many Senior Account Managers does the company have and he said many, I asked how many employees they had and he said hundreds. He also said that he could not give out the company Presidents name. Ebridge was the name given to me by Harry which is a different company entirely as I looked them up. I have reviewed all the complaints below and the responses by the company and all I can say to you (Ebridge Interactive LLC President) is shame on you! You are a disgrace to the human race and have no morals or ethics and the FCC will take note once I am done with you! Your family should be ashamed of how you are making a living you are nothing but a Thief!

Who would do business with these folks
Guy with chinese accent calls. Wants to speak with office mgr who is out. ME: what it was in regard to?
HiM: your listings with Facebook, Google, and Verizon.
Me: already listed with Yellow Pages, and no interest in listing on Facebook.
He YELLS at me: WE ARE NOT YELLOW PAGES!!!
ME: I understand, but we have no interest in your product.
He: I need to speak with your office manager
ME: Well I am the president of the company and I can tell you we have no interest
HE: (yelling over me as I respond) You are not the President. You are a liar. You are nothing but a liar.
Wow, what a phone spiel. Certainly had me sold! Way to win over the owner of a company.
I would have thought he was a frustrated employee with limited english skills had I not seen the scam reviews below. Linked in says they only have 3 employees so must definitely be the same guy using different names.

Wow is all i can say.
Today i received a call from a "Eric Lee" judging from the multiple reviews on here it seems like they just make up new names and put lee at thee end. After listening to his whole offer and talking back and forth with the "eric lee." I was viewing this website well he continued to repeat the same thing over and over again for 10 minutes. I told him i was not interested in Putting my company's money into the hands of people with such poor reviews. At which point he rudely hung up on me. From a business owner to another business owner you may need to do a little searching and find some quality people to help better portray the awful business name you now have.

Ebridge 877inmyzip llc Fraudulently Bills on ATT bills via PaymentOne
Ebridge Advertising - fradulent billing that can be easily attached to your att business phone bill - beware. Ebridge, or 877inmyzip LLC, PaymentOne and even ATT are all in collusion to make it very easy for a company with questionable business ethics to bill for phantom services via att business phone bills (my bill says ISP web host monthly fee). Ebridge (if this is the actual entity that recieved the funds) has some real progress to make with their billing, dispute resolution and overall genral business practicies if they want to be something other than a fly by night rip off operation. Let's be honest if Ebridge was operating their business correctly, there would not be the number of complaints there are online about their business practices - this is an FTC and CPUC action just waiting to happen.
So, apparently after a sales rep cold called my business, (where they claim an employee that was unauthorized to sign on behalf on the company authorized a negative option on their services after a 30 day trial) I guess we agreed to be submitteed to 100 search engines for $99.95 per month + 7.50 in local taxes.
What they conveniently sidestepped here is actually talking to someone at the business that understands internet marketing who would have been able to assess the value of their services and make a proper decision based on a real exchange of informaton. I happen to work in the internet marketing space. The company apparently cannot produce the agreement that their verbal authorization is based on in wrtitten form (some kind of month to month aggreement that PaymentOne and ATT go along with for a fee) and is unwilling to refund the money they stole from my company through my ATT bill.
Their stellar customer support team knows the drill well, I was stonewalled by a woman by the name of Monira Monsry (false name I am sure) who claimed she was actually going to be doing me a favor by cancelling the agreeement. When I asked her if I called her house, spoke to her kid and got them to verbally agree to allow me to tag an extra $100 on her phone bill how she would feel if I kept telling her that I had a legitimate authorization to take this money because her kid had given the verbal authorization. And of course this agreement woudl be based on some script that I could not recall or share. Her suggestion to properly resolve this issues was to take the company address and write a letter to them and explain my postion. She could not give me a refund because this is what she was directed to do by her boss - who of course she could not name, nor could she give an indication of the size of the company that I was forced to do business with (without my consent).
I get that this company may have a decent product at some level, I guess, but who knows? The rest of theis business practices are garbage and anyone the any sense will stay a mile away from ebridge, 877inmyzip llc. And, both PaymentOne and ATT should face some harder questions when vetting the kinds of business partners they are willing to work with - none of this is right and it creates a huge waste of time and energy for all involved when the only real beneficiary is ebridge collecting from people who are not looking at their bill carefully. This post is really just to help anyone avoid this kind of thing in the future - but yet another example of the waste of time and energy companies with questionable business practices impose on unsuspecting consumers, parasites, the scum of the bottom of the bad business bucket - the principal owners, partners, managing members (whatever corporate structure they are using to hide behind) of these businesses should actually have to put their name on these businesses so that people would have an idea of who they are and how they operate.. Ebridge and PaymentOne (and even ATT) are in the business of defrauding businesses with flimsy verbal authorizations that are not based on real contracts. If they were all doing their business right, they would deliver whatever it is that their customers are agreeing to in written form with a window of time to review the actual agreement and then have their client make the decision to accept or not. That wouldn't make them as much money but it would save everyone a lot of time and energy. From what I gather here, they are using some loophole in the "fair billing" laws and masquerading as a real communications service provider which allows them to do the third party billing via att, it is a scam. Where is the FTC and the CPUC, how may people have to go through this before they actually do something?

A total Rip -Off
This company must have a 2-3 week training class for their new hires; it would take at least that long to train & teach employees how to lie & get around customer complaints. This company promised to advertise for our company on 125 different search engines(30 days free).Thereafter they promised to call &/or e-mail me to see if we were happy with the service & wanted to continue @ $50 a mth.30 days later & no call or e-mail, I got a $50 charge on the phone bill. I tried several times while I had them on the phone to see what I was paying for & got nothing. I even asked the csr to tell me what words to Google in order to find our business name & every one that she gave me returned nothing. I really hope hey record their calls, cause she also agreed with me that we weren't receiving any service from them, but yet they charged us. I have no problem paying for service, but when your at&t bill is being hit for $50.00, & your not getting ANY service, I have a real problem with that. After reading all the bad reviews, I wish that I would have never even answered their call to begin with....

Judging from the details in your comments, this is clearly not consistent with our typical procedures and we apologize for any miscommunication. We openly share our process and protocols and our employees are trained to assist our clients honestly.
Furthermore, we are always able to find and show our clients how their business listings are performing online. We launch online marketing campaigns that propel our client’s internet listings to the first page of organic search results on over 125 search engines, including search giants Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Over 40,000 customers are satisfied and see successful results with our service. We find it hard to believe that our representative would claim that no service was provided.
We would like to assist you in your issue and investigate your claim but we are unclear as to how we can address your issue in this anonymous forum. As always, we invite you to contact our Customer Service, toll free, at 1.888.993.2743.

It's obviously a scam, but here's one more lie:
"We apologize for any unwanted calls from our sales agents. Our sales agents are trained to handle every client interaction with a specialized, highly controlled response. Any request to our sales agents to cease calling a business telephone number will be honored immediately."
They said that earlier in this forum. When I called to be taken off the list after being repetedly harassed despite asking several times to be removed from their list, I was told that it would take 72 hours for us to be taken off the list. So "immediately" is a lie.
Also, about 15 minutes after I called, I RECEIVED a call from them AGAIN--RIGHT after I asked to be taken off their list. She said they saw a call from my number and they were following up. WHAT? Also, our business phone number is blocked so I don't know how they even saw it.
Is there a 0 stars option? Horrific.

Liars!
This company is a scam! They get you by saying they are going to provide you a service and put your new business on google and bing. They also say that the first month is free. I spoke with them on the phone and asked them if there would be any automatic billing and was told no. They confirmed that I would have to agree to continue the service and I would not be automatically billed. Sure enough, two months later I see an additional charge for $100/month on my phone bill. When I called to tell them the issue and how I never agreed to their service they were very rude and did not even make any attempts. The first phone call I made to cancel and speak with a manager they told me the system was down and that a manger would call me back in 24 hours. Of course no phone call! I had to threaten them with a lawsuit and only then was I given half of what I paid back! Watch out. They bill through your phone bill so if you do not pay very close attention you will end up paying your phone company who will pay them. This company is very very bad and the customer service is ridiculous. The service they said they provided was easily done by a friend of mine for free. Do not sign up with this company!!! They will steal your money and then lie about it!

We run a legitimate business and our sales process is 100% legal. Below, we would like to share details from our response to the complaint Feyi E. filed with the BBB:
During the initial sales call, made on 9/2/11, Feyi E. claimed that she was authorized to make billing decisions on behalf of the business and approved the 30-day trial period, upon which she affirmed that she understood that automatic billing would begin after the trial period. In order for a sales call to pass our QA department, customers must clearly state that they understand these terms.
We then spoke with Ms. Emembolu again on 9/8/11. Ms. Emembolu was reminded of our service and provided instructions on accessing the client database to review and edit her business listings. Furthermore, there was reconfirmation of important information such as the trial ending period and invoicing through the business telephone bill.
In addition, our Welcome Packet, a mid-month progress report, and a pre-notification letter were sent during the trial period. Our toll-free number is listed in all communications.
Ms. Emembolu called our Customer Service Department to cancel the account on 11/15/11; after the account was billed twice. Our service was provided the entire time the account was billed. We incurred real costs in providing service to the business, which included launching an online marketing campaign that propels our client’s internet listings to the first page of organic search results on over 125 search engines, including search giants Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
We are disappointed to learn that Ms. Emembolu did not recall our service and terms despite our multiple follow-up communications. However, we entered into a valid agreement and provided a legitimate service. We maintain our position that our protocols were followed to the letter in this instance.

Scam
Just got off the phone with this salesperson to whom I pointed asked if there was a fee associated with this service. I was told no. Once she confirmed that I was the person authorized to make decisions regarding our telephone service she then told me there would be a $49.99 charge for each month after the initial month should I decide to continue the service. I told her that I WAS NOT authorizing any type of charge to my phone bill at this point or anytime in the future. She then tried to skirt the issue and I restated that I would not allow charges at this time or in the future. Suddenly she lost interest in giving me my free month of "featured" advertising. What a scam, and what a waste of my time. Now I will be calling the phone company to put a block on my bill. What a waste of my time!!!!

Our agents present our service and terms during the sales call and we are very upfront about how and when billing occurs. A good faith agreement is entered into with each client who confirms they are interested in continuing. We understand some people may not like telemarketers but this sales methodology and our business processes are 100% legitimate.
We offer our clients a 30-day trial period for them to see the benefits of our service for their business. We would like to stress that no one is obligated to say yes in agreement to our service and terms. Potential clients are free to simply say they are not interested during a sales call. As you seemed to have declined our offer, rest assured that no account was created and no billing will occur.
We invite you to contact our customer service department if you have any questions regarding our service. We are extremely confident in the competency of our team, and our Customer Service department can be reached, toll free, at 1.888.993.2743.

The other reviews are right on. These pests have called me three times in the last two days from different numbers, perhaps from different call centers (foreign accents in the first two calls) "about my listing". I have never done business with them and reminded the last caller about the law against such calls. The last call was from (888) 381-0590.

Receive multiple calls per day from "Toll Free Call 855-227-8883" to my home. Last time I looked outside, I see no business in my house, do not have a recycled phone number that used to be a business and do not live anywhere near an area zoned for business. Why does the caller ID not properly identify the company name? Have requested removal from the "internal do not call" list to no avail.
This company should consider the number of times per day it has to defend its practices and evaluate how much effort it wants to put into defense versus legitimate business practices.
No wonder it has an F rating from the BBB and having its membership revoked.

We do not now nor do we ever call purely residential numbers. 100% of our sales calls are made to business telephone numbers, which means 100% of the telephone numbers that we dial are listed somewhere online as a business prior to receiving our call.
If you can provide us with your telephone number, we will be able to investigate this matter and assure you that we will not dial your number again. However, we cannot resolve your issue in an anonymous forum such as this as your comments do not provide enough pertinent information.
With the growth of self-employed and home-based businesses, we are seeing more and more that having a storefront is not necessarily needed to run a business in today’s market. As a leader in the field of online marketing, we provide small businesses such as these with budget-friendly marketing and advertising tools.
We would like to reiterate that our sales calls are only made to previously published business numbers. We have no benefit in contacting residential numbers as our service is not intended for individual consumption. We apologize if your residential number was somehow listed as a business; however, our leads are generated from existing online directories.
Please note that the BBB rating system itself is under scrutiny. From ABC News: “The Better Business Bureau, one of the country's best known consumer watchdog groups, is being accused by business owners of running a "pay to play" scheme in which A plus ratings are awarded to those who pay membership fees, and F ratings used to punish those who don't.” http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/business-bureau-best-ratings-money-buy/story?id=12123843

BEWARE!!! This company randomly calls home and business numbers, ignoring the do not call registry, and uses an Indian call center to try to sell bogus sham services we don't want and in all likelihood are totally worthless. They are as bad as an email spammer, calling phone numbers at all hours of the day and night and ignoring repeated requests to remove us from their list. Any company who results to these random telemarketing tactics, abusing and ignoring privacy and laws restricting such practices, does not deserve anyone's business and should be out of business.

We feel that “William C” is clearly not a client and is making a judgment about our company with no real awareness about our service and products. However, we would like to address several of the claims made above:
• We do not “randomly” call any number. Our leads are generated from existing online directories. This means that the numbers we dial are previously published business numbers. • We only call business telephone numbers. Thus, we only call during business hours. • We do not nor have we ever used Indian call centers. We are stunned that by your automatic accusation to such, simply because our agent may have had an accent. • Our service is 100% legitimate, valuable, and nationally recognized by organizations such as Inc. Magazine and Deloitte. • All requests to remove a number from our calling list are honored.
We are unable to assist you in this anonymous forum. If you would like to confirm that your number is on our Internal Do Not Call list. We encourage you to get in touch with our Customer Service department at 1.888.993.2743 and talk to any of our representatives.

This company is a SCAM - FRAUD - They do not do what they tell you they will do! Our company also got the "30-day free trial" speech. 3 months later and our company STILL does not show up at all on any major internet search engines. Even though they say they do, THEY DO NOT MAKE FOLLOW UP CALLS. Once the 30-days is up, they quickly bill 2 months of service at $99.95 each, essentially charging you for the 30 days that was supposed to be FREE. When I called the customer service rep, they advised that they had made follow-up calls and sent follow-up emails. Not true. They said that our company would be listed on Google and Yahoo (and others). Not true. When they explained the charges to the phone bill, they would not remove them even after they checked themselves and could not find our company on these search engines. They are scamming people and need to be stopped. I cancelled the service today however, the company was charged for services they did not perform but still billed us for.
