Has anyone heard of Expert Financial Services? Are they a scam? They say they can reduce my mortgage from 2170 a month to 1350. They want me to pay $2000.00 for this guaranteed reduction and say its a one time fee. Should I trust them? Anyone experienced a call from 1-800-557-5144? They have a website www.expfinser.com...Please advise as I cant afford to have this be a scam and it seems to good to be true......Hurry please!

I would run, not walk away from anybody who promised me this. This spring the government is allocating more TARP money into foreclosure rescue programs in 5 states (CA, NV, AZ, FL, and MI) and some of this money will be used to reduce mortgage balances.

There's another (second set) of five states who have high unemployment that will also be targeted. I believe these are North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island and South Carolina.

But nobody can guarantee a reduction of your mortgage payment! Start your loan mod journey by calling a HUD-approved nonprofit housing counselor. You can speak with a certified counselor by calling 888-995-4673. They can evaluate your housing options, open lines of communication with mortgage lenders, negotiate a loan modification, and help you with household budgeting, all at no cost.

EXPERT FINANCIAL SERVICES IS A SCAM -- IT IS A SCAM!!!!

RUN! They just called me. Fortunately having worked for a major bank 20+ years I knew they were violating marketing laws in their initial pitch promising me I CAN benefit with a loan restructure in an authoritative manner that implied I was already approved before they had any info. They cannot promise me this until I am qualified and approved.

Before I answered anything I asked for a phone #. They gave me 800-557-5244. Upon hanging up I immediately called and it was a dead line.

My phone said they called from 801-801-1234. Called immediately and fake # again.

Looked up website - only 1/2 complete. No testimonials. Thin, weak looking site

Said he was from Livonia, Michigan. I looked up addr above and see it is an empty office that's available.

DO NOT BE TAKEN BY THESE LIARS. Report them to your Attorney General and the FTC.

I knew it was fraud from the get go because I don't have a mortgage -- I rent! After his yapping, I told him I am on the Direct Marketing Association's Do Not Call list and he is in violation. I said I was reporting them for the violation. Jake the telemarketer said he didn't care he gave me wrong info and hung up on me. What kind of person sleeps at night taking advantage of people. Document what you can and report them!

Also, check out www.preventloanscams.org/resources

This site launched in March 2010 and they have an online complaint form that I believe is sent to law enforcement agencies.,,

Wow a bunch of people who have never even signed up with this company. The company did a loan modification for me. When I signed up the money was put into a escrow account they promised me 45-60 days for completion. 14 days later they finished my loan mod bringing be to a payment of almost $75 cheaper then they said it would be. I can not stand when people do not understand a program they fill in what they do not know. At first I said that the this sounds way too good to be true and asked for some a copy of a loan modification that they have already finished they faxed me over 10 or so completed files. I then asked if I could speak with someone who already finished the loan modification and within a hour they gave me a number for someone that was near where I lived. When I asked if I can pay after they where finished the female said Sir we are working with people that signed a letter promising to pay the bank back and your not. If you tell me the money will be paid after and if you don't then everyone here's mortgage will be behind as we will all be out of a job. Something clicked and I guess you cant be broke and not trust any one because I was 7 months behind.

I am dealing with this company right now. I am desperately trying to obtain a refund from them. Since we requested a refund they will not return our calls and are always gone to lunch whenever we call. If we do get someone on the phone they are very rude to us or give us ridiculous answers about the status of our refund. One so called agent had the nerve to tell us that they must have "hit the wrong button" when they processed our refund. I have contacted the better business bureau and my local authorities. Everyone that's been taken by this company needs to get the word out about them. They told us that there is a 30 day processing period for
refunds. It has now been over 30 days and still no refund. I fear that our money is lost for good. I have turned to NACA for a loan modification.

They are a complete SCAM..... Beware. You will never get your money Back. Rick White and his Crew is a complete SCAM he just wants your money. Think about the process and how quick he is to ask for your money. REPORT them and then think about the Employee turnover rate I have spoke with 3 different ppl that was handling my case and they all have mysteriously been on a LEAVE of ABSENCE and never return come on........ This operation will be shut down have spoke with the Attorney General and filed a compliant and the lady said there has been a tremendous amount of complaints its a matter of time and I hope the throw the key away after they lock this man up. I lost my house because of this man....... I paid them $4,000 dollars. And still have not received my REFUND.
