Has anyone dealt with nationwide financial solutions llc for a loan mod. I just do not know who to trust any more?

You're right to be skeptical because of the rampant fraud in the loan modification business.

Are you located in California? As of October 11th in CA, it's illegal to charge in advance for any loan modification services. They can't collect a dime until the work is completed.

If I were you I would first call 888-995-4673 to get a referral to a HUD approved non-profit housing counseling firm that will do this work at no charge. This is a government-endorsed group of nonprofits that can assist you in applying for a modification. They can also evaluate and recommend your housing options and help establish a realistic household budget - again, their services are free.

You can check out the BBB of the Southland's Facebook page for more loan mod info:

Good luck - it's not an easy journey.
