California Law Group in Irvine was negotiating a loan mod, they got me in a trial mod and after that they stopped working on my case, after making all 3 trial payments, and even a 4th in October, California Law Group stopped responding to my lender who was sending certified mail to them on my behalf. My home of 19 years was sold on Oct. 13th 2009. California Law Group swore they had a team working on my case when I notified them on the 12th that a realtor showed up at my door to see the property because the realtor said my home was due to be sold on the 13th. My home was sold at auction, the law group is taking no responsibility, I have found on my own investigation that alot of these law groups are using a company call "The Mortgage Modification Center in Irvine, and they have a F rating with BBB, If you do use any company, know the laws have been changed, no up front fees, it didn't help me, but it will help those who are begining the process.
