YES AVOID, THEY ARE A NOT A GOOD/GREAT COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY..DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY IF YOU NEED A LOAN OR TO PAY A DEBT WITH THEM. ONCE YOU DO THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REACH THEM. THE TELEPHONE NUMBER THAT IS LISTED GOES DIRECTLY TO A COLLEGE AND ADDRESS IS AN ADDRESSS THAT NEVER GOT THEIR APPROVAL TO USE.

The BBB report shows their start date was a month and a half ago. Hmmmn. Their website appears to solicit debt management plans:

"You may be eligible for a structured debt repayment program. These consolidation programs can significantly reduce or even eliminate the crippling interest on your debts! Westcom Continental Funding is an independent, professional, licensed agency, and a member of the Canadian Association of Independent Credit Counselling Agencies."

I would avoid this if I were you. If you haven't done so already I would start your journey with a call to a reputable nonprofit credit counseling agency that will identify and explain your options. The counseling session will be FREE. The National Foundation for Credit Counseling's direct agency referral number is 800-388-2227. This will connect you to an accredited agency in your area. NFCC agencies have to be accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Children and Family Services (www.coanet.org). COA accreditation mandates a large set of service and case management quality standards that agencies must abide by.

Good luck.
