Has anyone had any problems with Ready Rentals??? Located in the city of Downy?? If so please let me know What was your problem.. I thought I could trust them to help me look for rental properties and unfortunately I paid them $150 to help me. I signed a contract with them in July 2009 we are in November 2009 and I have not at any time felt like this company was worth the money I paid. They lied to me about their services from the very beginning and every day that I call they come up with even more lies. On the contract I signed it says I have the right to a full refund If unsatisfied and they have not kept their word about anything at all. Please help me. What can I do??

Debra,

You've got a lot of company. This company, like so many others collecting advance fees to help people find rentals, is all about separating you from your money. Typically they misrepresent the properties in their listings and often claim to be property managers when they're not. The BBB gives them an F rating and here's the report: http://www.la.bbb.org/Business-Report/Ready-Rentals-100073000. Look at the complaints by clicking on the View Complaint button. You'll see that others have had experiences similar to yours.

I suggest you file a complaint with the BBB because as you can see from reading the complaints, some people have been given refunds. Unfortunately it seems to be hit or miss, but it's worth a shot. You can follow the link to filing a complaint from the company's report.

I also suggest you let them know that you intend to complain to the California Department of Real Estate which is the agency that licenses these types of businesses. This will usually get their attention.

Finally, don't ever pay money in advance for this kind of thing. It's like burning money.
