Review 8/30/2010
My elderly in-laws got behind on taxes and I have helped them get caught up. All taxes are currently paid. My mother in law recieved an offical looking IRS type document Form 1040-si (U.S.C) Title 26, to be exact, about a Federal tax lien notification. It would have scared her but fortunately I saw it first and recognized it as a marketing tool. When I called Ideal Tax Solutions to register a complaint about their marketing practice, the first person I talked to hung up on me. I called back and a different person, after explaining that I wanted someone to hear my compaint, told me to "go f--- myself". The handling of me personally is disturbing, but the more important issue is their use of fear to gather business.

Business's response - on 5/22/2015
Hi Kenneth. First of all we apologize for this type of communication no matter what was said on the phone this is unacceptable. The person was identified and let go, albeit after much time and a couple of other complaints, so we appreciate you reporting it. As you may know companies hire 3rd party vendors and in this case marketing company that says they obtain credible, fresh and good information on people that need help with their IRS problem. Not until we realized such notices were being used, we immediately ceased using that company and do not mail nor do we authorize anyone to mail that type of mailer. We have been in business for 7 years and have A ratings with both the Better Business Bureau and Business Consumer Alliance. In addition, all of our Enrolled Agents are licensed by the IRS. Again, we apologize for this, dealing with the IRS is fearful and disturbing enough and our goal is to help. Any inquiries contact Ken Mason ken@idealtaxsolution.com
