Well what can i say about OmniTrace. I paid the company a fair amount of money, $1400.00, to conduct a search for my birth family and after a year and a half of no results and very minimal contact I finally had to file a complaint with the BBB for them to correspond with me in a timely manner. If you sign up with their company you must agree to only contact them every 90 days and you will end up doing most of the communicating and searching with the state adoptive agency - or other state related agencies based on who it is that you are searching for. OmniTrace actually did very little of the leg work. Would I recommend OmniTrace to anyone to use as a service to locate a missing person, family member or to locate birth parents or to possibly locate a child that you might have placed up for adoption? Absolutely not! Money aside they managed to take my hope and my dreams of meeting my birth family and used those things against me to ultimately offer me no news, information or even suggestions on where to turn next. A complete and total waste of time, money, resources and faith!
